Went to this beach to see sunrise and it was magical. Totally worth it . Parking was free because we went early morning but it is paid parking for rest of the day. Clean beach with small waves. Not very ideal for swimming. This beach does not have a volleyball net. Parking is very limited so come early.
Usually uncrowded and cool views of nyc, but not the cleanest beach and new paid parking

Very calm scenery, beautiful beach, family oriented
The beach and the rules have changed a lot.
1st. It's paid parking now, you have to constantly feed the meters 2 dollars per hour
2nd. You can't bring your dog on the beach.
3rd. No more grilling or any kind of cooking on the beach

Nice, friendly, clean and free beach.
Used to be a good, local beach. It gets over run by out of towners now.
Also, some of the people who live across the street are real nasty to beach goers. I've seen them following and filming people doing things they do not approve of.
