Got cheated today. Ordered 3 chapati. Ask for kuah Ikan or ayam. They act as if they don't understand English or Malay. Gave me a small bowl which looks n taste like kuah. But when i paid, they said it was sardine n charged me extra rm4 for it. It looks like kuah, taste like kuah with little small bit of meat which i thought was chicken meat leftovers. I thought I would support them but this will be my last trip there.

Great place for authentic Punjabi poratas, excellent Methi Porata.
The place is very basic but a great place to eat 😋

A very good place with reasonable prices and very friendly people. In breakfast many options of Indian breakfast are available. Many types of paratha and chapati and dishes are on the menu. Masala tea and dissert are also available. Highly recommend. You will not regret visiting this place.

It was my first time. I read about this place in goggle.
The place is clean and well kept. A bit boring look. Lack of lighting indoor. There are basins to wash your hands. I guess not more than 10 tables to accomodate 40 people at one time. There is outdoor dining area too.
Run by a gentlemen and a lady. Both Punjabi. Assist by a Bangladesh lady.
So, it is safe to say, it is pork free and to extend alcohol free. I did not confirm. She did mention chicken is halal. They sold mutton too.
They have a signboard listing their menu with prices. But, it's outdated. They should re-write it for easy reference.
The capati I had is not what I'm used to eating. It's not as soft as sold in other places. Texture a bit rough. Smaller than other places. Thickness is okay. The dal curry and mint chutney (is it?) nice. Both are thick. You get a mix flavour which many places do not served. I ordered separately chickpea curry. A bit spicy, runny and cold. It was just okay.
But, the second round was disappointing with the dal curry served was runny.
Their masala tea was average. The one I had in Little India was better.
Anyway, I went home full stomach after taking 4 pieces of capati.
I would like to try their vegetarian dishes next time. But, my advise come morning or afternoon for fresh food.

Absolutely love the place. Their samosas to me are to die for! Everything else is quite good too. Nice clean place, everything made out of fresh ingredients. Owners and staff have really good attitude which is rare thesedays. Always accommodating my special requests. Hands down the best samosas in Malaysia so far.

The food quality especially Aloo Gobi and chapati is better compare to other restaurant, boss very friendly to guest, a vegetarian set including two chapati and two side dishes and dhal with decent portion costs RM9.00. Would entitled for 5 stars full if they can offer more side dishes choices in future e.g. chickpeas and the dine in environment could further improve. ;)

I don't pretend I'm a expert of Punjabi foods, but I do know Chapati texture is much more softer and flavour than those sold at chain mamak stores.

This dinner we had chapati and shapji, nice aroma of chapati mix with slightly salty shapji is a very nice combo. I'm sure there will be more visits from my family to this little home owned chapati house.
