Stunning food market with so many food stalls and each have their own style and attitude.
Clean and properly nice arrangement with the Malay halal and Chinese sections.
Mouth watering varieties mixed rice and nasi kandar.
All I could say is, too many choices too little time I only have come back for short visit, if not I will defo tried all, and I mean it, all of the food on each stall.
Sunshine square is just opposite there is plenty to do after a large satisfying meal in the food court.

This was my favourite lunch joint when I was working in Penang 23 years ago. Huge "spoilt for choice" food court with plenty of varieties...Chinese, Indian and Malay food. Some stalls are open only for breakfast. Very spacious dining area and very high ceiling with good ventilation. Nicely renovated toilets and well maintained.
The oysters omelette from stall no. 32 is a "die die must try". I opted for a medium size portion...Rm16. This is not the crispy version but very delicious. The big oysters were fresh, plump, juicy and lovely with the spicy chili sauce. Worth the 25 mins wait.
The pasembur was as good as ever. Mixture of thick spicy sauces. I didn't want to queue for the mee goreng sotong which obviously still very popular.
Fried koay teow was yummy as well except it was without the Chinese sausages. Perfectly fried and the bean sprouts were still crunchy.
Lobak was okay. Sauce was a bit diluted.
Unfortunately my fav dessert...apom from an Indian shop was closed.
I have always recommended this food court to my outstation and oversea friends. Still the right choice if you are at this side of the island.

One of the island's biggest food courts with multiple drinks & hawker stalls selling Chinese, Indian, Malay & even Thai food. Usually crowded in the morning & lunchtime with the factory crowd.
Diners are spoilt for choice when it comes to local favourites. There are several stalls just selling chicken or duck rice, wantan mi, economy rice & koay teow soup.
Among the popular food here are the curry mee, chee cheong fun, koay teow soup, wantan mee & fried oyster omelette which comes with a generous portion of big oysters.
