Highly anticipated but unfortunately a let down. I sampled several dishes, all of which ranged from okay to good, but nothing blowing me away. At such a high price point, I'd expect more. There are plenty of better options on the Ossington strip.

Vegetarian food wasn’t great, felt it was overpriced for what you get and generally really oily.

The ambiance is nice and service is good. However the food fell flat. There was literally pools of oil at the bottom of every dish, which ruined the flavor (mutes it) and also made us both feel a little sick. The vegetarian food I got was good but not great, didn’t live up to expectations. I was told the lamb was excellent but can’t speak to that.

First the Greek salad… definitely tasty for how simple it was, but again I didn’t like the plain oil swimming on the bottom. Maybe bread to dip in the oil would’ve been nice but otherwise it didn’t need to be there.

Then the spanakopita. Honestly it fell flat, it was a little bland. Textures were great but it was really lacking a flavor punch, like more feta, maybe more seasoning in general, or maybe more honey. It wasn’t as impressive as I expected, I’ve definitely had better.

Then the runner beans side dish, which I ate as my main. I actually did like this, I love this type of bean. However again it was swimming in oil with pools of oil separating from the sauce. I would have liked it more if it was less greasy, as the pistachio sauce did have good flavor.

Great food and service. A little high on the price point, but the quality of the food is absolutely great. I tried the octopus dish (signature) and baklava cheese cake. The cheesecake filled baklava is topped with yogurt mouse. The yogurt mouse is great, and the fluffy texture of baklava is good, too. Cheesecake filling was a little heavy and added too much volume to the serving size. 2-3 people can share one. The octopus dish was 100% amazing.

Tip: It's hard to read the sign. Pay close attention! I walked around the block for some time to find the place. If you are coming here on the weekend, make sure to reserve a table. They were pretty packed from early in the afternoon.

We were on Ossington trying to get into a place on a packed Thursday and this place let us put our name on their waiting list. An hour wait but it was not bad as we were just around the area. The inside is lively, bright and well laid out. The menu is geared towards sharing and we took recommendations from the waiter and ordered the House Dip Kopanisti as well as the Spanakopita. The house dip was good but nothing special, I did like the bread it came with as it was prepared in house and tasted great. The Spanakopita was a spinach pie sandwich that tasted phenomenal. I had tried it on Greece and this was just as good with a flaky croissant exterior and the inside was where all the cheese and spinach was. It was a table favourite. We unfortunately had to leave after appetizers due to something coming up but I can't wait to come here again to potentially try some of the seafood spots. Ossington fails to disappoint with its great food options.

Decided to walk into this restaurant recently & had a great experience.
The server was very knowledgeable regarding allergies. I mentioned my gluten & dairy one and he didn’t hesitate to go through the whole menu with me to show me which items they could accommodate.
We ordered the potatoes, octopus & Eggplant dip. The dip was sweeter than what I was expecting. The octopus was delicious, I wish the portion was a touch bigger, & the potatoes were very crispy & well seasoned.

Great location, atmosphere and the service was excellent. I really enjoyed the food, excellent pita bread. Right size and it comes with options of dips. I wish the dips were served in 4 small servings instead of having an huge amount of one option. And the salad is so fresh and definitely a shareable amount between 2-3ppl.

Absolutely delicious food. Came here for brunch and their menu was very well laid out and self explanatory. Ordered their prix fixe menu which came with a generous amount of food. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for their fresh food and nice ambiance.
