First time trying this place. All 3 of us really enjoyed our food. I loved the pumpkin dish, which is rarely on menus, except in pies. Also had the beef dumplings which were delicious. Tried my friends' dill rice & Afghan rice and those were very tasty. One had a beef dish and the other had a vegetarian platter. We were all glad we ate there! Great service and very pleasant ambience. I want to return to try other dishes.

Lamp chop was 10/10. Species were just perfect, and it melted on mouth. Beef kebab was also good. Chicken kebab was okaish, I found it too salty although my family liked it. We ordered appetized with two dips, which was also delicious. For desert we ordered, milk cake which was not bad. Then I ordered Firni which was topped with lots of nuts & blueberries. That was really tasteless, when we let them know about it they immediately replaced it with Bakhlava, which was not bad. They have a rich menu for main course.

The interior of the restaurant is very nice, and spacious. I will give full marks for the interior and the cleanliness. Around 100 people can dine-in at the same time. Went there on weekend for lunch so it was moderately crowded. AC was turned off, so they kept their windows open, we seat right next to the road so it was a little noisy at times. There are many picture worthy corners. This place is perfect for family dinner/lunch.

Staffs are okay, not very smiling but immediately offered us a new dessert when we complained so cannot complain.

Highly recommended, and I am looking forward to try other dishes from this place.

The dumplings were extraordinary! Really enjoyed how tender they were. I also loved my mocktail, the tajin strawberry one.

We got the meat platter and while it was delicious especially the koobideh, chops, and eggplant, I felt like it was standard ME fare and not very Afghani. The lamb pilao was delicious and more what I expected

I ordered Chicken Barg Kabob, but the food I received was more like Chicken Kabob, completely different from the Barg Kabob, similar to what they post on their website - Chicken Kabob - with a long grilled green pepper. I went back to ask the front desk lady to check the food. She insisted that that was chick breast. Anyone checks their website can tell the difference between Barg Kabob and plain Kabob. Is my food Chicken Barg? See the photo below. I had a good experience there before but won't order again.

Whenever I travel, I look for food I cannot get at home. Finding Kabul House was great! The restaurant dining room is bright and inviting. The food was delicious. Service was quick and engaging. I will be back!

Great service, clean and beautiful restaurant. Presentation was great. I had kabuli pulao, very flavorful and fresh, lamb was tender and fell right off the bone. Saffron milk tea was perfect and rich. The frozen mint lemonade is refreshing and one of the best drinks i have tried.
