THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE BUT DONT WANT YOU TO COME IN TO THE OFFICE!

The platinum blonde hair colored black security guard with exotropic eyes on the second floor, as I visited today, boast of her power to remove or delete anyone from the database system to her own desire.
I didn't say anything and just kept quiet and waited for my number to be called. After a minute of telling that to me she left for a break.
I was immediately called by the bespectacled male Indian descent looking guy who was having a discussion with another person inside at 3pm only to be told that my name is not on their database, even if I showed him my benefit card.
He told me that I made up that card and that I am wasting his time.
I said this card came with a letter and that I only came to have it activated and he said that my name don't exist.
And he wants me to go away cause I'm wasting his time.
He was not helpful at all.
I do not want to write the entire transaction but it only took around 30 seconds and he shoo me like a fly.
I was the one whose time was wasted because I waited for 2 hours to have my card activated and they never even bother try and help.
He kept on saying I made up that card like I have a PVC machine at home.
Well, I think they support each other in this office to bully the lowest of the low people in NYC.
Now I believe the power of the platinum blonde hair colored black security guard.
I just don't know why they say that we are wasting their time when they are paid to work there and we are not.

The man (WORKER) on the 4th floor at window#2 was great!!! Answered my questions with confidence and accuracy! On the other hand security guards are not paying attention and the others have very nasty attitudes!!! If you don't like working for the people GET A DIFFERENT JOB WORKING FROM HOME!!!

The people who work here are useless. They all need to be replaced by computers. They are unable to answer the simplest of questions if you are not on the "right" computer. Mind you its all The SAME SYSTEM! People getting angry because they aren't assisted properly or treated with respect. This whole administration needs an overhaul. Tsk tsk. Shame of those who work here and treat others the way they do.

Waverly job center is disorganized. When the doors opened at 8:30 a.m., people on the line rushed to the doors to get in, ignoring any kind of order. I would suggest that a security person be outside before the doors open, to establish order.
Once inside, there was a lot of chaos and confusion using computers to check in. A security person in doors assisted me on in using their computers to check in which generated a ticket for what I was there for.
No one asked me once I was sat down, what I was there for. I decided to go to one of the windows to tell a staff member what I was there for which was H.E.AP. and was then told when H.E.A.P. would start and to drop my form that I got from the computer in a basket.
I pretty much had to figure out what to do, but once I was called by a H.E.A.P. representative, I found her very helpful in processing my application and was finished in about 15 mins.
Bring all documentation required, before going to the center to hopefully avoid having to come back.

THIS LADY WITH A BLUE TOP ON & SHORT HAIR CUT IS NASTY & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL . SHE STOOD IN FRONT ON THE 2ND FLOOR TALKING DOWN & RUDELY TO CLIENTS THE WHOLE TWO HOURS I WAS THERE . I ENDED UP STAYING THERE SO LONG BECAUSE I HAD THE WRONG TICKET WITCH I ASKED HER FOR HELP WITH. SHE LACKS BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS & IT'S CLEAR THAT SHE HATES HER JOB & IS NOT A PEOPLES PERSON AT ALL ! SHE WAS TALKING TO CLIENTS LIKE SHE WASN'T AT WORK AND LIKE THEY WAS BENEATH HER . SOON AS YOU WALK UP TO HER/ASK HER A QUESTION SHE STARTS MAKING FACES IN ALL :/ SHE DIDN'T START HELPING PEOPLE GET THERE RIGHT TICKET'S UNTIL A MAN STARTED GOING OFF ON HER. THESE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE ARE USUALLY NICE & FAST , THIS LADY NEED'S TO BE CHECKED ASAP ! YOU WORK FOR HUMAN RESOURCES HUMBLE YOURSELF. & AS FOR THIS SECURITY LADY YOUR USUALLY NICE ! DON'T GET AROUND THIS EMPLOYEE THEN CHANGE YOUR FACE , 12 W 14TH STREET IS A PLACE OF WORK .

It was an experience being in there watching the people argue over when they going to be call. You have to have patient. This one crazy woman talking to herself then making a discussion to the workers about some numbers. When she left the worker I said she nuts. I asked the worker you get a lot of people like this she said all the time. I was there for like 3 hours n got what I came for but it only took a few minutes when I saw the worker but didn't needed to be there that long but this what go on when you want help. But I just love going there to see people arguing over when n how long they got to wait

Came in at 10:00 am then waited patiently all day long . At 7pm everyone who was left was told to come back again tomorrow morning. Because they only had 5 workers in the back and they were all only going to see one more person. I was not even given the chance to be seen at alI. Even though i was there for 9 hours . I had to take the day off from work just to be told to leave. Then they just assume I could come in the next day.
The customer service is here is utterly disgusting. The way the some staff treated me and others was rude and unprofessional. Not listening to why we had to say, interrupting and rolling their eyes like children. Oh one older lady on the 3rd floor with purple hair had the audacity to make me wait . When they had called my number . Because SHE was too busy talking to other people and then missed my number. When I was right there waiting for her to finish talking.
They are very understaffed when it comes to the people who actually work in the office .There were booths with no one in them. Only 3 had workers In them on the second floor.
They do have plenty of money for security guards though. Who are also very unprofessional. A woman of color who had long corn rows was cursing on the clock constantly. Then the Latina woman with black hair was talking about people and laughing at them. She was constantly on her phone. (Way to secure things) The security guards reminded me of middle school bullies. It reflects very poorly of the security company that they worked for. They should be embarrassed by the staff they have hired.
There needs to be better training for both staffdand security. They also should invest there money in actually hiring people to help the costumers .What I went through was unfair and unfortunate. I can only imagine how many other people have had a terrible experience here on top of what they are already going threw.Which is why they come for help in the first place.
