Chamundi Hills is a prominent landmark in Mysore, Karnataka, India. Atop this hill stands the Chamundeshwari Temple, dedicated to the goddess Chamundeshwari, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple is a revered pilgrimage site and a symbol of Mysore's rich cultural heritage.
Perched at an elevation of around 3,490 feet (1,060 meters), the temple offers stunning panoramic views of Mysore city and the surrounding landscape. The temple's architecture is a blend of Dravidian and Hoysala styles, featuring intricate carvings and a majestic gopuram (tower).

The best place in Mysore for a peaceful and enchanting experience is undoubtedly Chamundi Hill. Standing atop this majestic hill, you'll feel an overwhelming sense of tranquility that makes you feel too happy to put into words. From this vantage point, you can view the entire city sprawled out before you, its vibrant beauty contrasting with the serenity of the hill. Chamundi Hill is a must-visit destination for anyone in Mysore, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to those seeking both spiritual solace and breathtaking vistas.

I had a truly divine experience visiting the Mysore Chamundeshwari Temple. The stunning architecture, intricate carvings, and rich history of this sacred place left me in awe. The spiritual ambiance and the breathtaking panoramic view of Mysore from the hilltop were unforgettable. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a deep cultural and spiritual connection.

The route to the hill is awesome. The parking area is too well managed. VIP line is 100 and other one is free. But time is 3hrs overall for both lines. Get some local guy give that guy 1000 they will get you inside the temple from shortcuts. Very crowded on weekends never visit on weekends. Better visit on weekdays. Try to take 1200 steps to reach the temple if you believe on God that much rather than taking the vehicle till the top.

Must visit the temple if you visit Mysuru. Loved the peace & vibe of the place. There is proper multilevel parking for 2 & 4 wheelers. 3 types of tickets available to enter the temple- 100/-,30/- & Free tickets. Though whatever ticket you'll buy, one should be prepared to be in queue for at least 1-2 hrs. Worth visiting!!

It is an awesome hill. We planned to visit on weekend and glad to see the road. The construction done for road till almost top hill is marvelous. There were 1008 stairs to reach to temple and now there are a few stairs and there are local vendors shop on both sides of stairs.
Parking of bike and cars available with charges. Paid toilets are available. We enjoyed aerial view with telescope to see Mysore city night view. No proper food joints at the top.
