This was a bustling location, small and compact with bar seating to watch all the magic in the kitchen unfold before you.

My favorites were the croquettes, the prawn tortilla, the bread with tomato, and the beef tenderloin.

Everything is prepared with precision though and a certain quality that’s amazing to see.

Haven't been to this branch for awhile, they've moved to a bigger space, food is still great. We had the oyster which was really fresh and well seasoned. All other dishes were as tasty as usual.

It is nice that they serve small dishes as we were queuing for seats, although we didn't need to queue long, it does create a nice atmosphere and make the queuing experience very pleasant.

Delicious food, great service and atmosphere - what else could you need. We had the daily special chorizo croquettes which were the highlight of the meals for me. Also had lemon sole, gambas rojas and patas bravas, all of which were fresh and beautifully cooked.

Barrafina offers an exceptional Spanish culinary journey. The flavors were a symphony of Spanish cuisine, each dish a delightful surprise. The restaurant’s ambiance successfully transported me to Spain, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attentive service added to the overall experience, making it an evening to remember. What’s more, I was lucky enough to visit on a day with no queue, but only after a few minutes, it was full. Lucky me! If you appreciate authentic Spanish cuisine and a memorable dining experience, Barrafina is the place to go!

I loved dining here, had some of the best authentic Spanish tapas I’ve tasted. Every dish was a hit. Quality of the ingredients and attention to detail for every dish is apparent. Highly highly recommend! Limited bar seating inside, with a few tables for outdoor seating.

Pan con tomate was a great starting tapas, showcasing simplicity at its best. Delicious sourdough, fragrant olive oil, and ripe tomatoes made for a perfect bite.

The gambas rojas were flavour bombs. The shrimp was succulent and cooked to perfection.

Their tortillas also blew me away. They tortilla itself is cooked perfectly, with a runnier centre within. I haven’t been to too many places even in Spain that get it like this. It’s quite rich due to the addition of their aeoli topping.

The mushrooms with cured yolk was also a favourite of mine. Buttery mixed mushrooms topped with a runny yolk which you mix in; this dish was super indulgent and tasty. I loved the different textures from the oyster, chanterelle, and morel mushrooms.

Fennel salad was the only dish that I wasn’t wowed by. The fennel itself was crisp in thin ribbons, but was quite lightly dressed and tasted bland relative to the other dishes.

Amazing food and staff. Although some of the items were sold out due to a busy night, whatever we had was extremely delicious and very fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were genuine and had great recommendations.
Wait is a bit long and you actually have to wait in line. But it is worth it.

Glad to see this place is still pumping out delicious food after all these years! Last visit was close to 10 years ago, and still feels vibrant! Fantastic crew as always - always a fun meal with the awesome chefs! Recommend showing up at opening time to make sure to get a seat, otherwise they may be a queue!
