Maharaja Vegetarian sweets and restaurant

I visited Maharaja at dinner time, and they truly lived up to their name. I tried their chole-Bhatura, Maharaja burger and Chilli Paneer and my personal favorites were chole-bhatura and burger, very delicious and you can smell freshness from afar. I would definitely visit again.

Just FYI, they are very busy with skip/Uber orders so you might have to wait 20-30 mins but the wait is definitely worth it.

Great food and good service. Food takes some time to come but you can tell it is freshly made so it’s worth the wait. Awesome place for all vegetarians. The Manchurian balls and pani puri are my favourite dishes here.

I’ve ordered take out food from this restaurant several times. It’s a consistently good restaurant. I’ve tried many of the appetizers including chaats and they are all good. The curries also taste good. -1 star because they don’t always follow instructions provided on Uber eats or door dash (for example don’t add butter to roti or don’t pre mix chaats for takeout orders etc).

But overall I’m a repeat customer.

Very bad service by them. We called them for takeout and it them more than 1 hour to prepare that order. The taste of food is good but their service destroys the mood. I will recommend if you want eat from then you should be totally free and be prepared to spend more than an hour. The staff is very rude. And indian girl with specs is totally rude and doesn’t care about customer

Masala chai was really awesome . Price is bit higher than usual masala chai. But taste is really great 👍 worth for the price 👏,

Veg Spring Roll 5 for $2 and Samosa 3 for $2.
Personally I don’t like the Samosa taste here.

All burgers are almost same type. Veg burger and veg noodles burger use the samw patty. Papdi chat was good. Aloo tikki burger ij kinda ok. The noodles or patty had some oil smell. Pani puri was decent. Falooda is also kinda ok, kulfi is nice.

It's no frills sort of place. Chat quality was just okay.

What's disappointing is the attitude of the kid in the front desk. She makes you feel like homeless asking for a free meal.

We were in the neighborhood. Craving North Indian street side food and decided to check this place out. It's a small eatery in a big plaza located alongside a couple of other eateries including bamiyan kebab.

Its a tiny location crammed with 8-10 tables and a lot of chairs. So not much room between the tables but thankfully it wasn't crowded. Where it lacks in ambience it made up in the taste department.

You get excellent Delhi style Chole bhature here. The samosa chat was good too but the Chole bhature stole the show. It took 15-20 mins for the order to arrive despite not being busy. I would assume they prepare a lot of the items fresh. The chaat mint chutney in the chaat clearly had a lot of artificial color, something I am not very fond of, so please be aware.

Service was fine, similar to a lot of other Desi places - no smiles or greetings - but just about enough to get the transaction done. You order at the counter and pick up your order when it's ready. You take back the food to your table and dig in. They don't accept credit cards. Just cash and debit cards. Reasonable pricing for the taste.
