Used to be good but now just sloppy. I could not find any organic pork or beef on a Tuesday’s 7pm. Everything in meat and seafood section looks old.

Several packs of old cheese in bloated packages just sitting with the rest of the cheese.
This brand of cheese is shrink wrapped so for the packaging to be puffy means bacteria has started created gasses inside the package.
The cheese is also cream colored so for it to look partially black under the wrapper is horrifying. I tried telling an employee and was ignored. Taking into account the other reviews of old food and unsanitary practices, I won't be going back.

Excellent selection and good prepared foods. A little pricy.

My big issue is that the packaged produce (mixed greens, arugula, cherry tomatoes, etc) is usually on the verge of going bad or maybe even already bad. The greens are often wilted and soggy with brown liquid, and I've often found that the cherry tomatoes are moldy. I've also sometimes found mold on the fruits too, like the pears.

Seriously health department has to come to this supermarket.once again I see the guys putting away boxes or organizing behind the counter where they make sandwiches and he didn’t even thought of changing his gloves. I have complained about it before but just like the employees the manager doesn’t care . Also why i bought some mangos that are pre cut and when I opened it the smell was horrible. I’m confused why would a mango smell so horrible. I stopped buying cold cuts and meat in this supper market. Managers make sure your employees are fifo everything arriving in your store. First in first out to prevent customer buying bad food or wasting their hard earned money . Ridiculous .

Excellent produce and meat selections. They even carry Jenkins Jellies (go for the Hellfire flavor). It’s an upscale grocery store so the prices are higher. The staff is nice and there are several self-check-out registers. A solid ice cream and ice-pop selection too.

Just like that…from 3 stars to 1 (should be Zero stars). So I went to Brooklyn Fare today. I saw this pistachio baklava that I wanted to try for the longest. It was much more expensive than I thought it would be ($6.99 for 6 little squares) but I just had to have it. A few mins later, while waiting for my food at Panera Bread, I decided to try my baklava. Thankfully I looked it over before eating it… there was MOLD all over it! It was only noticeable once I opened the container. I am soooooo disappointed. I had been looking forward to trying this for months. I called the store 3 times but the line just rang until I hung up. I am so disturbed by this….

Original 3 Star Review: The prices are way higher than other supermarkets. For example, I bought a 16oz bag of almond flour for $11.99. Another store had the same item for $7.99 & it wasn't on sale. Going forward, I will check other stores before going here...

Terrific grocery store with many great choices. Fresh cheeses, vegetables, meats etc.... Prices are reflective of a smaller shop, but the service is good. Nice bakery section and good produce section. Packaged food has many options. They have a nice selection of house made salads as well as a fresh salad bar.
