Tortilleria y Taqueria Lenchita

Food was amazing! Authentic and massive portions! Everything was extremely fresh and flavorful. I love the variety on the menu.

It is a place where I really enjoy spending time with friends, eating and chatting; food really brings me back, but service has not been as nice. Maybe there were my unlucky days since there were 3 different people, but if it was not the food, I would leave the place. Fresh tortillas are awesome!

They are authentic and home style. Portions were huge. It comes with grilled Cambre and nopal. n the side they gave picante sauce. Each taco had 2 tortilla shells so he meat doesn't bust though like it does at other Mexican paces.The meat was a little dry and not salted so you put your own sauce on. The service was outstanding.
I would return again if in the area.

Everyone here is so nice and welcoming. The food was fantastic - we had mole enchiladas and a huarache with huitlacoche. Freshly fried homemade tortilla chips with their two house salsas are included when you arrive. The fresh fruit juices were also delicious. Definitely recommend this place for a hearty, comforting meal in a casual, welcoming atmosphere! Prices are very reasonable and portions are huge so it’s very easy to share.

A must when you are in the neighborhood! Great service, nice atmosphere and delicious authentic food. We have had take out and dine in which is both highly recommended. Seriously the best tacos that you will find in New York.

Easily some of the best Mexican food of my life! I've been around this neighborhood for a few months now and just stumbled across this quiet and cute place. The service is great and quick, but the food alone earns five stars. I had the pupita and mulita and highly recommend both. The tortillas (if that's what you call them?) were both fresh and delicious. The green sauce and tinga chicken both are calling me back already. And cap it all off with some horchata!

Edit: I added in another photo because the food continues to be excellent. They've also seem to have upgraded their plates and flatware if that is important to you. Their green sauce is the best salsa I've ever had. Perfection.
