Food was not too bad, but they over charged me. When I asked about it they said the website has old prices. A juice with flautas 20.00 … really? …. First and last time I order food from here.
Very polite staff. Food is fresh and delicious. But most surprising is how strong they make their Mojito drinks. I had 2 drinks,with dinner & I'm lit!!! If you live around here & haven't stopped in yet you're missing a hidden Mexican gem!
The burritos are awesome. I mean amazing! If you are ever in the neighborhood and in need of a an amazing burrito, do not stop by Chipotle, venture here immediately! If you are not completely satisfied, feel free to message me and I will absorb any complaint you may have. lol. $16 dollar will get you a large and it is enough for two people. It will be fully loaded and bursting from the seems. Enjoy my friends.
This use to be one of my favorite spots near work. Now they are absolutely horrible. The chicken flautas were disgusting. The chicken you can tell was old and sitting there for quite a while. When I called they said they couldn’t send a fresh order only if we ordered something else (we couldn’t eat it, it was inedible). After waiting for 10 mins on the line and blaring music in the background. They wanted to said the flaulas fresh because we requested a refund. Since they didn’t want to give us a refund we took the flautas for them to AGAIN BE DISGUSTING.

But LET IT BE KNOWN SAN JOSE’s RICE AND BEANS WAS PHENOMENAL! Perfectly cooked fluffy rice; beans was cooked amazingly!
My chips and salsa tasted fresh and homemade so that was enjoyable!

After a long day of mailman business and dropping off supplies at my family’s spot. I was craving A WRAP OR SOMETHING SIMILAR WITH EXTRA CONDIMENTS(y’all know how I do). So I had to dig deep and remember I’ve eaten at this establishment before but never reviewed this place yet.
I ordered the chicken and chorizo quesadilla (homemade corn tortilla)… FLAWLESS. The chicken was seasoned well balanced. Chorizo didn’t taste like it was cheap packaged meat. Everything to my point of view was fresh and good quality. But I must say I’d wish the ratio of bread to meat. I would of preferred a bit more meat…but there is an option for that. Bathroom was decent.. overall the night was ended beautifully with a live performance from some local artist who was singing karaoke which was also beautiful. Yeah I was mostly paying attention to my late dinner but anyway. It was goood. It’s all good. The staff were good. Food high quality made to order.

Excellent service! The food was well prepared and tasted great! The place is a bit small to sit with many but it’s just you or a friend it’s perfect. The people were super nice and my food came quick.

This place was good in the past but recently they fell off. After the installation of the bar in the back the food was overpriced and little flavor. Trying to go between a restaurant or a club, it can’t decide between the two. Went with group to get dinner and gave it a chance. While waiting for the food, we noticed roaches on the floor. Realized we should have gone somewhere else. The food was also bland and little flavor.
Ordered Fajitas de pollo after a Yankees game. Their price is very fair among the restaurants near Yankee Stadium. But my fajitas is not up to par. There's too much juice and oil at the bottom of my plate (see picture). As a result nothing is browned or charred, instead, it feels more like boiled chicken strips with vegetables. For the same reason the dish tastes quite bland though it can be saved by their hot sauces.
Another thing that bothers me is their live performance is extremely loud and the loud speaker is very close to customers. Our experience was very uncomfortable as we had to shout to our waitress to place an order. And the singer was not even a good one and went out of tune frequently :(

I came here a while ago with a friend the food was ok it wasn’t the greatest but we were hungry. The atmosphere is a little uncomfortable because of the sketchy area. The service was kind of long as well.
The most unprofessional, rude and nastiest attitudes from receptionist on the phones. My SIL called to complain about incorrect order and they blocked her and my brother’s number. I attempted to make an order over the phone as usual with my card payment, rude waitress told me to wait and call back. I tried to explain if their machine is down, i can pay cash. She hung up the phone. I tried calling , she answered the phone and hung up. Tried calling 3 more times after and keep getting my calls forwarded AFTER giving my card info. Now i have to cancel my card. So rude!!!! Nastiest attitude. Get new workers that are happy to take calls. And for future references, lower the radio you have blasting like a club. Yall have nasty attitude when we ask to repeat what yall say because the music is so loud. Do yall want to be a club or a restaurant?
I ordered the birria Quesadila which was a very good size for me a bit spicy so careful there, extra cheesy and delicious. Servers we're women who we're sweet and kind. My mother ordered the tacos de chivo. She enjoyed it she almost never enjoys restaurant food. The Salsa that was served she said was so delicious and yummy. The only reason I give the atmosphere a 4 and not a 5 was because the Ac was a bit smelly so we did move elsewhere. Other then that we got what we paid for it was delicious music and decor was awesome and it's a much bigger location now!

This place slaps. The service was good and there was love entertainment (the singer was very good.) We got the steak burrito, the al pastor taco, and a quesabirria taco. They had seating after the game and the red and green salsa was good and spicy as long as you drenched your food in it. Would recommend!
Authentic, 100%. Great food and they had live entertainment while we were there. Our waitress was very nice and always checked to make sure were doing good. We got a steak burrito, quesabirria, and an al pastor taco! Do not pass up going here. Quick walk from the stadium and had availability after the game. Would definitely eat here again.
TIRUPATI: Moved by the plight of the impoverished hit hard by lockdown in Tirupati, a 24-year-old ward volunteer has taken it upon herself to help as many people as she can despite getting an honorarium of just Rs 5,000. Panditi Mounika, from Sanjay Gandhi Nagar in Tirupati, is a ward volunteer from the eighth division in the corporation limits. Despite a meagre income, she has been feeding many homeless and destitute at least once a day.
She started volunteer service by serving food for 30 people. Now, with the support her family members Vijaya, Ravichandra, and Sandhya, she is able to feed more than 200 people at roadsides and hospitals in the city.

I didn't expect alot from here since I randomly went there but omg I really really enjoyed my meal.

I tried the burrito al Pastor, and it was so delicious. it has been so long since my last time here.. but it was good. the service was great too. also, we ordered an order of flautas to go and it was yummy. Definitely I will come back to try the tacos again.
Just got off the phone with them and they couldn’t deliver to me because he never heard of the street name. Mind you they never looked up my address in the first place. Worst costumer service people ever
I’m genuinely upset with this place because a few people have been telling me they have delicious food. I ordered a Bistec Burrito that was very bland and a flat out rip off..the burrito was basically rice and beans wrapped with a thin layer of lettuce and two miniature cut tomatoes, there wasnt even bistec in it until the very end which was just tiny bits of meat…a waste of $17
I like this place, the staff is so friendly, kind , and nice. I love how it looks inside, the decoration is great. I ordered a burrito al pastor was so yummy. i like they have boing de mango .. Definitely, I like to come here when I have the opportunity.
You can find everything there. They got Barbaco on Saturday, cheese, and Hamonsillo.

This place use to be a good place untill the owner decided to sell it to someone else now they are very disorganized employees are very rude they call you tell you a time and when you arrive food is still not ready even when you arrive later then what they told you to arrived so disappointed
I see some bad reviews on here and I don't believe they know what real comida Mexicana is. I'm Colombian born and I love this place. It's also very clean and they are friendly. I would have given 5 Stars, but I still have much more to try as I'm stuck on the Tostados & Tacos w. Chicken or Pork. Love it

Stop at this little Mexican eatery after visiting the gym close by. The food was fine, great, portions and very authentic. However the place itself was lacking. It was a small place but it needed cleaning and a bit of upkeep.

Awesome spot for Mexican food in the S Bronx. Great vibe, friendly service, and delicious food - it’s places like this that put a lot of Mexican restaurants in Manhattan to shame. I had the molotes - one of their specialties and a dish I’ve not had before. Basically they’re crispy tacos filled with beans and in my case, chorizo. Wonderfully crispy and tasty. And then I had to try one of their tacos. Got the carnitas - first off, it was packed full. The pork was wonderfully tender and juicy and the corn tortilla was moist but held together well. Outstanding! I will return.

I was planning to travel downtown this morning for Sunday brunch, I had Thai food in mind! On my way to subway I find out the train is not running, not in mood for shuttle buses, I changed my mind, and opt for local restaurants near train station, Xochimilco, had good reviews, I decide to experience the summertime menu, shrimp cocktail is delicious, I was impressed with the quality of the hospitality, the all staff is friendly and professional despite the busy hours, for sure I will go back for more deep mexicain food experience
This spot has some absurd options for tacos. You can get a steak taco only on soft tortilla, they don't allow you to get it on a hard shell. I decided instead to get a chicken taco which the waitress said you can get on hard shell however, we were then told that we would have to order four tacos in total. I've been to countless Mexican spots, never had an issue like this. Walked 15 minutes for this nonsense. Never again!
Best authentic Mexican Restaurant around. I really enjoy the karaoke they do every night and/or play amazing music. They also get well known artists at times.Love to hear that they will be expanding this place to a billiards as well. Overall, Excellent food, Drinks and great atmosphere and service‼️‼️
Normally the food is good and the taco is filled but lately it hasn’t which is really disappointing because I actually like the place. I don’t think I’ll be ordering again too many good places to waste money here.

My tacos was actually yummy. Not sure about other dishes. The customer service was great, very nice people that takes time to listen and help you out with your order. Next time am around, I will try something. As of now, 5 Stars for my tacos.
Their Mexican dishes are authentic and tasty. They serve hot chocolate and pot coffee, both are Mexican style as it should be. The adobo de puerco is my favorite dish from theirs, not every Mexican restaurant is created equal. So this dish is a must try. Their chef, Freddy, loves cooking and every time I order something if it's him cooking I know I won't be disappointed. They serve other dishes which I love too; costillas de puerco en salsa verde, mixiotes de borrego, chiles rellenos and chuletas en salsa de huaje. They vary dishes every 2 to 3 days though. The only desert I tried were churros. They pour Nutella on it by the way and it's also delicious.
Not to mention but the salads here are very affordable unlike other restaurants which overcharge. They serve shrimp, chicken, and beef salads. Or you can get all 3 mixed in a salad. I prefer the shrimp and chicken salad. Need to ask chef Freddy his cooking recipe so I can save some money making it myself lol. We found this amazing place while walking to see a game on Yankee stadium! And I have to say it is a little peace of paradise for AUTHENTIC Mexican food lovers! I definitely can say that I had THE best soup in my live, and the most delicious guacamole in the city. Every detail in their food presentation was exceptional. Our kids( who are usually very picky ) cleaned their plates within few minutes.

These tacos were incredible. I had crispy tripe, lengua, and carnitas. I ordered the carnitas on the crunchy American style taco. It was so so crunchy!!! I loved the texture. It’s unlike anything I’ve experienced in Texas. The tripe was cooked perfectly to melt in your mouth. The orange sauce was delicious, spicy, and flavorful. I can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu.
My partner had the chicken tacos which were incredibly flavorful. My only complaint is they were a tiny bit dry, but the flavor was so good it didn’t matter. If you go, definitely try at least one crunchy American style taco.

Very good smoothies and natural juices. Not a Bronx natuve but this was very good.

I have been to this restaurant three times, and this one was my 3rd and last one. My mom had a quesadilla and she only had one slide, the other piece I took it to go for breakfast. And I still CANT believe what I found in it. I had a bite and felt something hard like a bone. I took it out of my mouth and found a whole piece of GLASS. I still can’t believe this, imagine if my mom would’ve eat it! Or me! I hope someone see this and either close this place or make some adjustments because that would’ve cause the life of my mother or mine!

What a surprise! From the look on the outside, you would not expect to get the level of cuisine presented at this restaurant. It's a little bitty hole in the wall nestled between two other grocery stores right off of 167th street. If you blink you may pass it by. But try not to. The tacos here were excellent and made to order. The ingredients tasted fresh and the service was spectacular. Try their food with their red sauce. It's a fun spicy blend that makes your meat sing.
Woman at register was new and didn't understand the prices, or what I was ordering, ended up trying to charge me twice for one order. Left beyond annoyed,she didn't even give me my change from the first order
The food used to be great. Since I started ordering from this place about 3 years ago its been going down hill though. Their food was delicious, good flavor and seasoning real Mexican. But their service has to be one of the worse. It looks like an authentic Mexican taqueria. A dirty kitchen and helpless staff. Inconsistent with their items and food service. They're always forgetting to send the complete food order. Their work system is one of the worse I've seen. Whether you're ordering for pick up or delivery they will forget something or mess up the order or just completely forget to put the order in. Unfortunately their tacos are delicious so you've been warned.

Went in for a snack left Happy! It's a bakery that smells amazing and Mexican food spot. Authentic bites I peaked into the kitchen, and they offer quick Mexican products to go. I had Tacos Enchilada and Barbacoa and a Huarache. Everything was amazing! I hope places like this never die out. Thank you

I went there last night & I enjoyed the “gorditas de chicharrón “ ,& “flautas con arroz” .Use Fresh ingredients and service is always great & the Mgr U was very helpful went selecting the dishes.🤗
I got a tostadas de carne and it was great. The tostDos was crisp and flakey and the me as t was juicy. The meal was also served with chips and a spicy sauce. I would come back and try out the other menu items.
Good food but Customer Service Sucks! Waitress wasnt professional didnt give full attention to our orders, instead of giving us metal untensils she gave us plastic forks and no napkins! She took forever to give us our reciept.
Went here three time. Only thing I would get was sopes because I ordered a burrito once and it came with rice that was both undercooked and burned. All three times I went I got diarrhea. The sopes were decent but I stopped going here because the last time I went I found the cooks long hair in the middle of my food. Just disgusting. Don’t waste your money here. Unless you really want a case of the runs.

Better than tularcito bakery and tacos San Lucas food !! The carne enchilada is nicely cooked since they cut them in pieces and the pollo de milanesa is nicely fried and not soggy , really recommend. My mom accidentally ordered but I ended up really enjoying this new spot.

!Perfecto! It's been hard finding truly awesome Mexican. I find one and it goes out of business. Or it becomes too popular and Americanized. Los Hermanos Salazar is great. It's a pretty small place and the food prep is a bit slow, but worth the wait. Also, ciento, no inhaled (sorry, no English) - either speak Spanish or do your best to point in the translated menu.
We had six tacos of lengua (beef tongue), tripa (tripe), al pastor (spicy pork with pineapple), and barbacoa (bbq goat). All were excellent, although they needed the cheese for salt. Plenty of filling and toppings with radish on the side. We ordered a large side of arroz y frijoles (rice and beans), and while it was huge, we cleaned house. Honestly, one of the best we've had. Very simple but executed with perfection.
Finally, my favorite, a cemita con mixto de lengua y cabeza (a large sandwich with beef tongue and head). Filled a plenty with chipotle, avocado, lettuce, tomato, mayo and more. I had it without cheese. The bread was awesome. The sandwich was huge and awesome. I'm still full.
This is worth a Bronx trip. For a family of four hungry eaters, the meal as described plus a few seltzer and a generous tip was $54. Wow.
We had six tacos of lengua (beef tongue), tripa (tripe), al pastor (spicy pork with pineapple), and barbacoa (bbq goat). All were excellent, although they needed the cheese for salt. Plenty of filling and toppings with radish on the side. We ordered a large side of arroz y frijoles (rice and beans), and while it was huge, we cleaned house. Honestly, one of the best we've had. Very simple but executed with perfection.

I order papa con nopales which is a vegan option and it is delicious. My friend order a vegetarian option and he really like it. I have been enjoying this restaurant for the last year.

Delicious local mexican spot ive dined in and had delivery ... They are fast and ive always had a plesent experience.
Food was not bad at all but it's not to die for neither.Services was express that shocked me but i would had love waiting a little long for a tasty food!! Their Sauce (guacamole) is to die for it has all the right flavor you taste on a real guacamole.
A surprising find in the heart if the south Bronx but the food here is amazing try the Mexican salad burrito or there tacos all freshly made all the time
I discovered this little taqueria from heaven when I ended up in the neighborhood, was starving, and it just happened to be the first thing in my view. I was really just looking to fill my stomach. I wasn't expending that I would stumble across the best Mexican food in NYC! Well it actually makes sense given that it is a Mexican neighborhood. They wouldn't dare eat the crap served up at the Burritovilles and Benny's Burrito's that the gringos can't seem to get enough of. This menu is the real deal. Everything is fresh and delectable. My favorite is the chicken burrito. La Fiesta because is truly a party in your mouth.
