RCTA is a tremendous organization that has provided a great facility for All to use and a variety of innovative programs for All ages and levels to maximize their positive experience with tennis.

Very poor experience with this organization running the 96th St courts. It's sad because the courts deserve better stewardship. Booked a private lesson. The RCTA canceled the lesson last minute so they could rent the courts to a corporation to use in an ad. They did not bother to notify me of the cancelation so I wasted an hour traveling to the courts. No effort at all to make it right. Not even an apology. Had to chase on a refund. Very rude and disrespectful throughout. Would be disappointing behavior in a business, but incredibly sad to see the city's courts managed so poorly.

Canceled my private lesson with no notice and no effort to make it right. I didn't find out until I walked up, ready to play, that it was canceled. Facilities seem ok, but super disorganized and don't seem to care about clients. Really disappointing.

The guy (some d head) that works there has an nasty attitude. It's a public space operated by some "non profit", it's not a country club, don't be a "guard dog" when people come to inquire general information how to reserve a court to play tennis inside. I am turned off by that guy's attitude now. Good luck with your business!

I am glad that there is a norm to brush clay court well after each use. A good manner (°ο°)

Feels like your local neighborhood tennis courts, compared to Center Park courts which is a larger operation. So you get both pros and cons that come along with it - super friendly and personable staff, everyone seems to know each other. But quality of clay courts suffers tremendously. Not approaching unplayable, but you do very frequently get bad bounces.
