Deomali Mountain Peak

Nice place odishas highest peak. Go to the top by treeking. You will feel as if top up the world.

Wonderful place to be at. This is the highest mountain peak in the state of Odisha. I've been there twice, once while it was raining and the other on a sunny day. Both the times, it has been spectacular. You can see the wide mountain ranges of the eastern ghat and the drive to the peak is also very good. If you are going via Vizianagaram to Salur, I'd suggest taking the road that goes straight towards Odisha and not the one that cuts right. The former road is much better and it'd be a struggle if you chose the later.

There are a few view points on the way and once you reach the spot, there is a checkpost to enter the hill top and they charge around 100 rupees for a car, not sure about the other vehicles. It's a drive of about 2 kms from that checkpost and you will find a few kiosks from where you can have a good view too. It's all green with loads of rocks around. The hill top is pretty flat. Good place for camping and picnics too. You also might find options for gliding.

One of the most beautiful locations in odisha. The sunsets there are super gorgeous and worth traveling to see. There are some delightful benches and viewing stations built around which are very nice for just sitting and contemplating the beautiful surroundings. There is a cafe in one of them for tea /coffee/snacks. There is a camping spot available for people who want to camp, entry is stopped after 5pm. Highly highly recommended for multiple visits. It's the highest point in odisha.

One of the best mountain where you can climb to the top, the view from there is amazing, you have to trek to reach the tip of the top, it’s even more amazing from there. Camera doesn’t do justice to the place , you have to see it to believe it.

Hv to ride to the mountains and climb to the top by feet ... by exact morning or exactly by evening if u r treking u can feel the clouds..

Its breath taking .. will definitely try for night camp with some more friends ofcorse.. ohh yeah will visit again for sure🗻
