A French style catholic Church which is quite close to the White town. This is a huge church located quite close to the centre of the town. The architecture of the facade looks different to other churches I've seen and is painted mostly in yellow, white and bits of blue. The interior is also quite well decorated and the prayer hall is one of the biggest I've ever seen

One of the most famous churches in Pondicherry. This place is located right opposite the railway station. Probably one of the biggest churches you'll find here. The entire church has a red and white themed painting all over, with bits of green here and there. The interior decor is absolutely beautiful and is also very peaceful.

Wonderful place to be at. This is the highest mountain peak in the state of Odisha. I've been there twice, once while it was raining and the other on a sunny day. Both the times, it has been spectacular. You can see the wide mountain ranges of the eastern ghat and the drive to the peak is also very good. If you are going via Vizianagaram to Salur, I'd suggest taking the road that goes straight towards Odisha and not the one that cuts right. The former road is much better and it'd be a struggle if you chose the later.

There are a few view points on the way and once you reach the spot, there is a checkpost to enter the hill top and they charge around 100 rupees for a car, not sure about the other vehicles. It's a drive of about 2 kms from that checkpost and you will find a few kiosks from where you can have a good view too. It's all green with loads of rocks around. The hill top is pretty flat. Good place for camping and picnics too. You also might find options for gliding.

If you are expecting a waterfalls then you'd be disappointed. It's basically a reservoir, but you might see the water flowing like a waterfalls during the rainy season. The good part is the route to reach this place, it's quite scenic with farmlands and mangroves, fresh air and the cherry on top is the beautiful sunset that you can witness here. You can even find locals fishing here. Be extremely careful when you are on the edges of the reservoir, as there is no fencing or protection as such and if you are careless, there is a good chance that you might drop something in or fall into the water by yourself. Try reaching there by 4pm in the afternoon, relax for sometime and have a good sunset view and please don't pollute it.
