I don't like spending time in SLU, personally, but come out here often for this coffee. I've worked as a barista and am professionally impressed with the care they take with their espresso. Its seems that they weigh each pull, and pay attention to steaming posture and it shows in the product. Specifically, there's an afab person with short curly hair who once made me literally a flawless latte. There was no break in flavor between sweet foamy milk to the coffee. Smooth, flavorful, not burnt, not over extracted, just right. Really appreciate the effort this staff is making.

Great atmosphere. Good for an afternoon of remote work. My first impression of the coffee was the foam which was low end for the price I paid (5.50 for 6oz cappuccino). The coffee itself was well roasted with some beautiful fruity notes without a hint of bitterness. However, for my palette it was too sour. I prefer a more balanced cup. But if you like quite sour coffees then you will really enjoy.

On my morning dog strolls, I've found this coffee gem. The chai latte? Sublime! They ace every custom tweak for my Dad's cup. It's the perfect brew to kickstart our day.

House cold brew is fine, but there are way too much ice in the cup, still it tastes good.
The almond croissant is almost garbage, tasting stale as if it has been there for a week. The fluffy and soft taste is never there.
Cozy seating with spacious seat arrangement.

Very cool coffee shop. The shop has a modern interior design, plenty of space inside and in the Troy block. I like the selection of coffee and pastries.
This time, I ordered a seasonal latte, and was unhappy because the coffee was too sweet. I wish there was an option to adjust the sweetness as for $8 I expect a quality drink.

Every time we visit a city we seek out the best coffee shops and Cascade Coffee Works is the best we have found in seattle. I would definitely recommend.

Edit- They serve the coffee with porcelain cups now!!! The cappuccino was amazing, soft and to the point. The place was quite, suitable for working or studying.
