National Academic Theater of Russian Drama named after Lesia Ukrainka

This is only recommended for those who are still looking for some soviet times and russian propaganda trash in the capital city of Ukraine, which is fighting against Moskovian aggression. Horrible

But - needs some upgrade

I always visit and gratefully enjoy the performances! The theatre staff is great and passioned of everything they do. Highly recommended for everyone who is interested in true theater art!

Located in the center of the Kyiv, the theater presumably performs Russian classics, but not only, it has also shows, based on works of modern authors in it repertoire. The primary performance language is Russian, some plays are staged in Ukrainian. If one enjoys theatrical performances, it should be visited.

We came from abroad with tickets to Chekhov's Cherry Orchard, yet we got to see Anouilh's Voyager without Luggage. Hmmm...

Apart from excellent acting and magnificent staging quite a disappointing experience...

Good classic plays , good actors , but not comfortable chairs on balconies

My favourite theatre. Plays are very live and always contain deep idea. Tickets are available at an affordable price. The only time we were to see an awful play was "wizard of Oz"

Place with rich history and world-class theatre architecture. Check out performances on the great stage as well as a "Bergonie" restaurant in the adjacent building where famous actors and celebrities are usual guests and the atmosphere is fantastic especially at the summer terrace.
