Uptown Plaza Houston

Shady shopping center. Never feel comfortable there, and always watch your back on this corner. Even with all the crazy activity, especially at night, the property owners never seem to care. Grotto’s is a nice spot. The places in the middle are cool. The CVS is an absolute garbage location, and CVS should be ashamed they let this place exist the way it does. The people working there do their best, but they’re fighting an uphill battle.

I went here to eat dinner on a Saturday night and I thought it has a great location it's quite near the Galleria mall so it is relatively easy to get to if you just had a day off shopping in the Galleria. On top of this I think the quality of the restaurants and chops in the complex are very high the only thing I was disappointed by was the lack of parking spaces for a restaurant customers we had to spend quite a bit of time driving around to try and find a good place to park that did make it a challenging experience.

No maid service on weekend. Casting to tv is blocked, traffic can be heard from hwy disturbing sleep. Otherwise the room is very comfortable, well equipped, super clean and the ac is very effective. I'll come back but will make sure my room doesn't face that hwy.

Great shopping experience, but they've been troubled by insecurity lately. Please, always pay attention to your surroundings while shopping-- up until you walk into your vehicle. This is an unfortunate development in the greater Houston area.

Went to grotto. The waiter was great however it was a huge example of how and why covid is running rampant. None of the staff were wearing gloves except for 1 busboy. Also the staff was fistbumping with patrons. There were signs up for social distancing however the staff did not enforce it and the bar specifically was full with people sitting right next to each other. Wait staff removed their masks at times. And a street beggar walked into the restaurant without a mask and was in the restroom for a while and nothing was said to him when he entered. If they were not willing to turn him away they could have offered him a mask. This was all directly in front of staff and management. My wife and I tried to enjoy an outing for my birthday and instead we were totally shocked and scared during our stay.

You know this place horrible wait more like pager seating all they are missing are the pagers. Music is super loud the waiters are practically yelling the special at you. If you want to be a club, be a club. If you want to be a restaurant, be a restaurant. Brandon the waiter was awesome and a magnificent server. Tended to our needs and was polite. Brandon really should work at a better restaurant. Management is horrible and for the prices on the menu you'd expect real fresh mashed potatoes, not boxed.

Nice, convenient little place to stop by. It's always clean and fresh. Even though it might be a little packed because of Grotto's and Fizz Nail Lounge, it's a nice place to get a nice meal and to pamper yourself.
