Rude staff and what there were to work looks unprofessional. Why would they not have a uniform like they used to. They just look like a customer. Bigw has gone down hill
Susan behind the desk of lay-bys and click and collect, has terrible customer service skills and is quite rude. Luckily the other staff are always helpful and polite because she is rude enough to make you not want to shop there.
Big W Mittagong party services are great. I’ve now dealt with them twice for balloons for parties. Services are always provided on time as agreed. Cheerful service.
After a long drive and having forgotten my suit for a party in the area that same day, Big W Mittagong came in handy with only 20 mins left before closing.. saved me a lot of embarrassment and a potentially ruined evening! About $72 bucks for a passable set of pants, belt, collared top and wool jumper.. better than the squidgame tracksuit I drove into town with!

While there wasn’t many actual staff on the shop floor, the pricing stations were plenty and in working order.
Friendly staff on the registers and the aisles were clear of stock and easily manoeuvrable.

Great store with good range of products. Able to purchase most items with ease and usually very well stocked.
The service here is usually great, most workers are very nice except for today when I went to pick up something up from the services desk and was told by an older woman to “leave her alone” after asking politely for an approximate time that my order would be ready (it was supposed to be ready within the hour and it had been 3 hours and it was close to closing time).
After I asked her why she was being rude she insisted that I leave her alone…
I ended up finally receiving my order. I don’t feel the rudeness was necessary and If she was having a bad day, she definitely shouldn’t take it out on customers who have done nothing but ask a question.
