Algiers Point is 15th ward has a great history on the West Bank of the Mississippi River. Algiers history is second oldest neighborhood in the city. You can enjoy yourself by walking get some food or drinks.
Once off the Algiers Ferry Terminal. Make your way to Jazz Walk of Fame. It was once home to many jazz musicians. Make you way down to Crescent City Connection. You get a great view city of New Orleans along with ships passing.

Ferry was great and very affordable comparing the high parking cost in FQ. 200 Morgan St. Parking lot is a public parking but but but the parking meter was broken! If you don’t want risk of towing, you can use lots of street parking since residents are out for work. Please be aware of this is March 2022. Feel that they could change this situation soon since it’s not a regular setting for a tourist attraction. Night view is a hidden pearl in NOLA. You have to go if you are a group. Even though we didn’t have issues, it’s common sense of not going out alone during night time in that area. Still appreciate the residents’ generosity for allowing tourist to use those street parking space.

When I visit a new city I always try to find then best place to fly a drone and get good photos/videos. This is the place for New Orleans.

I'm so glad somebody at some point decided to add this location onto Google Maps. This location is accessible through a small side path that branches from the Mississippi River Trail. The easiest way to get here is to take the Canal St. Ferry and take a left as soon as you exit the ferry terminal at Algiers Point. If driving, get a street parking spot near the corner of Morgan St. and Seguin St. and walk the rest of the way. The downtown buildings are angled perfectly from this location and the shots I got was just absolutely stunning.
