Decent Food | Stunning Location | Recommended
— Detailed Review Below —
Decent Lebanese restaurant in the Mayfair area in Central London with an absolutely amazing location, ambiance, and setting. Sadly for it though, it is located in an area awash with outstanding choices/competition when it comes to Lebanese food, with very good options in Mayfair, and Edgware Road - with its abundance of riches In Lebanese restaurants - just around the corner.
Their starters are par for the course but the grills don’t match up with the lamb kofta, in particular, overcooked.
Verdict: Recommended if you’re staying at the hotel and don’t to walk; otherwise, find yourself one of the truly amazing Lebanese restaurants the area offers.

A trip to London is incomplete without trying the Middle Eastern restaurants there! Eager to try a convenient location for good Middle Eastern food, I dined at Najma Lebanon (One Hamilton Place, Park Lane, London W1J 7QY, United Kingdom). An award-winning team dedicating themselves to a cuisine inspired by the acclaimed Lebanese chef, Georges Rahme from IHG Hotels and Resorts in Dubai, this restaurant is known for its meat platters and mezzeh (appetizer) dishes.
Eager to try their renowned dish, I ordered a platter of mixed assorted meat. A delicious dish made up of lamb chops, beef kofta, chicken wings, and skewers, the meat was served with a side of chilli garlic aioli and wild rice! A carnivorous feast that promised a variety of flavor, the lamb chops were grilled to tender perfection, showcasing their rich and robust taste, complemented by a slight char from the grill. The beef kofta, with its aromatic blend of spices and herbs, offered a juicy and flavorful bite, while the crispy chicken wings boasted a delightful combination of savory and smoky flavors. Finally, the assorted skewers, threaded with marinated meats and grilled to caramelized perfection, provided a delectable variety of tastes and textures in each bite! The chili garlic aioli added a zesty kick that contrasted the meat flavors and the nutty wild rice was the perfect canvas to showcase the variety! Truly a meat-lover's delight, made even better when washed down with a refreshing Aqua Panna.
Living up to its starry name, Najma truly deserves a 5-star rating for its delicious menu, high-end ambience, and professional service! Should you find yourself in London looking for VIP treatment, the hotel and restaurant are both highly recommended!

Congratulations to Alex Webb on his engagement. The poor quality of the food and service was so obvious that we asked if he was in the kitchen and were told that he was away to celebrate this. In his absence, despite the best efforts of the restaurant manager, our dinner was such as to bring his name into disrepute.
The cod was not so bad as to be sent back – just overcooked and devoid of life and flavour. The pork, however, was sent back – tough and a challenge to the jaw muscles; the second serving was a little better but still very ordinary. The main courses manifested a (very) heavy hand in the kitchen, particularly with the salt. And the disk (biscuit??) under the chocolate sphere for dessert seemed to be based on some concrete brought from a building site – we did not risk our teeth on it.
The first bottle of white wine presented to us was warm and the wine consequently tasted like sugar water; we were told that there was a problem with the fridges but a second bottle was properly chilled and as it should have been. We did not get crispy potatoes as advertised with the cod nor, at the first serving, a spoon for the barley with the pork or forks for the desserts.
A good meal should lift the spirits but, although we were only charged for one meal and the wines (which were the one positive element of our dinner) and nothing for the service, this was just depressing. We went home to have a glass of good Calvados to remove the coating of salt from our mouths and alleviate the damage done to our digestive tracts.
As the restaurant is only open for four evenings in the week, we were surprised that Alex Webb should choose to be absent on a Friday dinner service It seems that the Alex Webb restaurant without Alex Webb might be an offence under the Trades Descriptions Act.

Wonderfully crafted food - the tuna tartare was delightful, and the pork chop cooked to perfection.
The staff were excellent. They were more than happy to accommodate my request of a plate change for the pork chop, as I had an issue with the texture between the contact of the knife on the plate.
The only gripe I have is with the Yuzu & Tonka Mille Feuille. While it looks wonderful, the Yuzu overpowers all other flavors in the dish. Else, the entire meal was terrific! 10/10 on starter & entree, 8/10 on dessert.

A restaurant that hold the bones to be great but severely let down on the basics of aspects.
My table was late by 20 minutes which is fine if when ushered to the bar and asked if I would like the welcome drink which was included in the Valentine’s Day menu. However the drink took 40 minutes to arrive. When I told numerous staff none of them had the decency to come back and update on its progress.
Food lacked taste on some dishes, I have never before in Mayfair had to ask for salt to season my own steak. Adding to this my partner doesn’t eat beef so asked for the vegetarian substitute. The substitute was a HALF cooked carrot, not sure where you would qualify that as an adequate replacement.
Staff had no idea what they were doing which wasn’t helped by the senior staff. It was frankly upsetting as you could see the junior staff were trying their best but were not being correctly guided to forfill their job. Which meant service severely lacked.
I would honestly suggest avoiding this place like the plague. This is not what is expected for the price nor the area in which the restaurant is situated.

What an amazing culinary experience I’ve had!!
You can Choose from three types of tasting menus – two-courses (£35pp), four-courses (£75pp) or seven courses (£110pp)
The opening dish, Cheesy Chester’s Puff, was the first thing Alex cooked in primary school, and the Bread and Yeasted Butter with edible flowers is served with a poem his grandfather used to recite.
I added a four-course wine (£35pp) pairing.
I started with Crab consume jelly and Smoked venison tartare which was one of the best I’ve ever tried.
My main was a Lake District Farmers' beef rib-eye with black mushroom purée, tomato gel and mushrooms - an excellent choice for all meat eaters!
For the dessert I opted for a Passion fruit parfait - outstanding!!
The restaurant has amazing vibes with great music and service.
I will be back!

Alex Webb on Park Lane was an amazing experience for my partner and I. Firstly, the food was sensational, truthfully, some of the best food I have ever tasted. The stories behind each dish were very heartfelt and it was surreal having Alex himself explain to us the dishes. The quality of the cooking was sublime (and it was very exciting that it was the dishes he cooked in Masterchef Professionals).
Also to note, the service was very warm (thank you Angelo) and the atmosphere was great. Would highly recommend going to this restaurant!
