Great experience! Chose to rent bikes from spokes bike rental right across the street ($12/hr) and then proceeded to ride the full loop. Went on a Monday in August and it was pretty busy, but not overwhelmingly so. Parking was $8.50 for two hours. There are two separate parallel paths one for bikes and one for walkers. There were bikers, rollerbladers, skaters, and scooters. The weather was great and the views were even greater. It went from a harbour type view, to ocean, to beach and ocean, to lake, to city. It was pretty cool. Total loop was around 6 miles for me (the official site says 7) but maybe I just started at a weird point. Finished it in around 45 minutes and that included frequent stops for pictures. There are plenty of benches and stopping points for pictures, including a pretty well kept beach and a huge pool towards the the end! All in all would highly recommend if you’re looking for something active to do in the Vancouver area.
It is the most beautiful route I have done in Vancouver. The road is very quiet plus you have views of the Vancouver skyline. It's long but worth it. When you finish you can get the aqua bus to return to downtown.

Gorgeous trail for walking or running. It wraps all the way to Stanley park, well kept with beautiful views. Dog parks and benches along the way, and beautiful messages engraved on the benches.

A Vancouver staple. Disappointing that our anti-active Parks Board removed most of the dedicated bike lanes!! Ride early in the morning. Still a fantastic walk.

Love this road so much. Modern skyscrapers with great design, perfectly situated in a city of forest and garden. Vancouver is so beautiful.

Must visit spot if you are in Vancouver! You get the view of water, forest, mountains, and skyscrapers all in one place! I highly recommend biking around Stanley Park. You start from waterfront and about 10 kilometres later you end up back in the same place. The views are absolutely stunning!
