My mother is 92. She was unable to travel and the Panama consulate arranged for a video interview. Needless to say, the arrangement was extremely accommodating. The consulate was patient, professional and very knowledgeable. The paper work was processed and approved. My mother will now be able to enjoy her remaining days home in Panama……. Thank you Heidy.

I must say that there is nothing but gratitude on our part. I sent an email requesting an appointment, I specified my mother’s age and when we would be in town, to support my need for a specific time. I was extremely pleased when I received a reply within short minutes. Not only that, I received an appointment for my specific time this same week! I want to thank you for your responsiveness. I look forward to our appointment!

I've been trying to contact them and there is no answer at all. Iam on my 4th email and 12th call and received no answer. I just need an appointment to renew my passport, thats it! I need to travel urgent to Panama but at this point I see that is not going to be possible, very very disappointing because the service for passport in Panama is very fast but here in New York they are not working at all.

My girlfriend went to pick up her passport and 20 minutes later was back. Very organized consulate and works fast and gives you the days when to go pick up your passport. Very well organized 👍👌😁

I was very happy and pleased with the services provided the ladies that attended to me were helpful and pleasant to work with they communicate promptly and explain everything clearly it's always a pleasure to go there

I’m reading all these negative reviews, I was a bit concerned about the process I would have to undergo with the consulate.

I must say, my experience was very positive, I started by reading the instructions provided on the site. I followed the directions. I made an appointment via email and received an appointment via email rather quickly. I showed 20min early on the day of my appointment with all the documents requested. We followed all covid guidelines during the visit and completed the process in about 30minutes.
A few weeks later, I received an email stating my documents are ready at the consulate with specific instructions on the availability to pick and times. I was successful in doing so. If I may suggest to others with Panamanian passports. Do yourself a favor! Plan ahead for your passport.

Don’t wait until it expires. If you have six + months before it expires. That is a great time to consider starting the process.
Remember: You are dealing with mailing systems of 2 countries, it is not “Amazon shipping”😊😂🤣
