It’s an ok park not to safe for kids . A lot of opening gates and no bathroom .
It's a big park with a soccer field, some hand ball fields, and a kids playground. But the playground is relatively less play sets than other playgrounds nearby. It's close to Sheepshead Bay Rd business district.
Tons of joy for kiddos, newly renovated park with mini-tennis, basketball courts, splash pad great addition to the playground in hot summer days.
My daughters preschool & summer program is located super close to the park as well as our home. It's basically an every day stop. Tons of kids , water 💦 sprinkler,ice cream 🍦 truck & Italian ice as well as a man who sells toys for the kids. Highly recommend!!
It's a nice park. My kids love it
I like the pre-renovation layout of the park much more. There is much less park to play or walk in now. There are no longer an older kid and younger kid slide, just a toddler slide. Park seems more suitable for toddler and younger kids now, not much to offer the older kids like before except the climbing globe like structure. They should've also added a bathroom during the renovation. I hope they are not renovating/"upgrading" all our other neighborhood parks in this park style - that would be awful for the kids.
One of nicest in the city that I have seen so far. Sprinklers, climbing area, swings for kids all ages (there was even one bigger swing, green with a beige harness that looked like for older special needs kids), slides, and benches to sit. Basketball courts are close by.
