I was given incorrect information from an agent. I paid for a delivery fee that could not be processed. I have been waiting refund for over two months now.
Horrible customer service and flat out scam. I lost 60 £ to them and now they are ignoring my emails.

Very bad service and rude staff. You book an appointment but it's so badly organised that you still should queue for more than 15 min.

Turned up for biometrics for 4pm at 3:30pm and am out at 4:08pm. As long as you bring passport, biometric instruction letter, appointment confirmation letter, and consent form, there are no issues. Staff were friendly 😊

After Covid there are many delays on the consulates but VFS is delaying everything even more. I payed the courier service that they offer, it took a week and a half to collect and deliver the passport in London (they ask me three times the same information by email). Finally, when they sent the passport back, they did not inform me. After many calls, wrong information and contradictions. My passport was returned to London by DHL. I took the train to London and picked it up. More than two weeks since the passport was ready.

I had an intractable problem that my file was not converted to the High Commission of Canada and I had only 10 working days to issue my visa and my flight was after 2 weeks so the schedule was tight. The security of the CVAC helped me a lot to enter the place smoothly, as well as the receptionist. I do not know his name, but I think his name is Kabir. Thank you all

Before coming here I checked the comments 🤣 which scared me. But fortunately, I got a nice service. Although there would be a long queue, actually when you could get in depends on what your appointment time is. So I was not waiting for a long time. I arrived at 10:30 am and walked out at nearly 11. I guess it is because I just had a biometric enrolment.

I had an appointment at 1.45pm and finished by 2.05pm. I started waiting in the queue from 1.25pm ish and thankfully the weather was okay as we had to wait outside.
Everything was smooth until after my biometric was taken. The staff that handled my biometric seemed like they just had a bad day. No smiling and seemed strict. At least they tried to be polite.
I tried asking a question in regards to a scenario if the time come for me to submit the passport, how to send the passport via courier without going in person to the VAC.
They didn’t bother to understand my question and just answered with “We don’t know yet. Wait until the email from the High Commissioner.”
This is not my first time applying visa at VACs run by VFS or even to embassies. I’ve had a better experience.
I can empathise that the staff did their best to do their job. It requires both applicant and staff’s cooperation to have great experience. Which is why it’s 3 stars, to acknowledge the staffs did their job.
Just a bit disappointed for the uncomfortable customer service experience. I blamed my need to know on what’s expected in the 2 steps ahead.
Key points to have great experience at this centre:
1. Read the instructions online carefully.
2. Prepare and print out the documents per the instruction.
3. Follow the staff’s instruction.
4. Don’t ask questions unless it’s immediate and relevant to the appointment (this is both sarcasm and seriousness).
All the best.
