Very cool place to browse books. Great selection of many different genres. Not many used books. Also has a large stationary section.

Wow, this bookshop blew me away. I try to visit some independent book stores everytime I travel and this one will be going on the best of list. The staff selections were wonderfully curated. Each selection had a small but impactful blurb. Outside of the staff selection they had a great selection as well. Hopefully one day I can visit again as the space and layout is memorable.

This is a wonderful nook shop located in Brooklyn downtown with a few other branches in the city.
♿️This one has two floors and it offers a wheelchair access! A suitable ramp at the end of store with an elevator!
Th staff are super nice and friendly; they help you with all the questions you have.
The kids will love this place with a big collection of books coming in different genres.
There are many tables and chairs to take a seat and read the books.
This store is open daily from 10 am morning to 8 pm in City Point BKLYN mall.
Highly recommended!

An independent bookseller with 4 gorgeous location in the city. If you love books and can’t get enough of it - the place to be is here or any other location. The one in Fulton street is the smallest one. This one is gorgeously built and can provide you with hours of mental solitude and enrichment.

I love book shops in general but McNally Jackson’s shop is just super! The shop has such a big collection with a ton of genres which you can get lost in. Truly a great place to browse and find new reading material. In addition, the staff is friendly and super helpful. My favorite is that they have a quiet spot where you can sit down and read. So if you’re looking for a solid book shop- visit this place:)

I love books almost more than anything else, and this new(ish?) spot didn’t disappoint. Two floors of high, densely packed shelves with a ton of nuance and neighborhood vibes in addition to the latest titles you expect on the new release tables.

The staff picks were helpful and friendly, and many of the suggestions were both known faves and unknowns, with an emphasis on smart, student-y, and timely. I was almost overwhelmed browsing upstairs, and admired the fact that the genre rooms had many subfields full of the expected and unexpected. I look forward to returning alone and getting lost.

There was a used and rare room on the second floor, a stationary and elegant pen zone, kids stuff, and some magazines. The staff were visible, roving, and helpful.

If you’re in downtown Brooklyn and looking for something new for yourself or a good find to get someone else, find your way into the mall (Target and the Alamo Drafthouse are there), and pole around inside. This is a powerful riposte to the age of Amazon…

Like everything else now around here, masks are still expected inside…stuff one in your pocket before you go until further notice.
