SOMISOMI

I love love love somi somi! I have never found another taiyaki and ice cream place similar to somi somi or how somi somi gets it done. I wish I lived closer or that there was one in the centennial area, but the trip to spring mountain is definitely well worth it!!

I honestly find myself thinking about the milk tea cookies and cream ice cream I ordered here at least once a month if not more. It’s been over a year since I had it and my god was it phenomenal. A great vibe and a solid place for a sweet treat.

We tried 2 flavors together, which they call swirls (ube and cookies and cream) and it was delicious 😋🤤. Very creamy and not too sweet. Just the way we like it. Glad we visited this Las Vegas location to try this famous Korean soft serve ice cream. Definitely a must try to cool you down in the sweltering summer heat.

These ice cream creations are wonderful. I went on a weekday during the daytime. If you go on a weekend like friday or saturday evening, it will be jam packed inside.
The food is always consistent here and that's why I like it.
My favorite is the ube ice cream, but If that is not your favorite then there are plenty of other choices here.
There's a big bench seating area in the back area where you can sit and enjoy your treats.
If you come on a busy day, then parking can be a challenge. Somisomi is located in Shanghai plaza and the parking lot is usually full.
Overall it's one of my favorite ice cream places in chinatown las vegas.

SOMISOMI has great soft serve! Highly recommend ordering Ah-Boong where the soft serve comes in a soft fish-shaped waffle with your choice of filling.

There are bleacher seats and some standing counters to enjoy your dessert.

The parking lot tends to get a little crazy around dinner time.

AH-BOONG!!!!! My daughter really loves this place and during our visits, we've tried the coffee, ube, matcha, milk tea, strawberry, pink guava, mango, and horchata-flavored soft serves. I always get the red bean filling because it reminds me of getting my azuki beans inside a shaved ice from Hawaii. The workers here are always super friendly which is refreshing to experience on top of the excellent dessert/treat. Definitely recommend this place to all locals and visitors...and don't worry, just because you see a fish-shaped waffle cone, it doesn't mean the cone tastes like fish. We will be back again....and again!

Awesome place! We ordered upside-down ahboongs, one matcha/strawberry and one Oreo/coffee. The waffle cones were delicious and well-textured, and the ice cream flavors were both great

I think they could do with better seating, but that’s okay. We paid $14 for the two of us, and we’ll definitely take friends next time!
