I'd never been to this type of restaurant where they prepare the food right in front of you.i was amazed and had so much fun!! Our chef was talented and hilarious. I'd definitely return. The food was so delicious!!! ❤❤❤

Such fresh food, perfectly cooked and seasoned, in a BEAUTIFUL atmosphere, and with great service.
Every time I drive by Rockford I will be buzzing in here for a delicious meal.
I had a tuna poke bowl, shrimp, miso soup, and lemonade. Yum!!!

JMK Nippon has been the place to go for years. Their teppan tables are a great entertainment if you have the time. Usually, my family and I can be found on the cafe side. You can get the same menu options without the show. During weekends there is a hefty wait- reservations suggested. They have add a gluten-free option for those with restrictions. You can even catch the owner walking around from time to time.

I haven't been here for about 2 years. The food and service is still excellent, so fresh. I love how the chefs prepare the food and use fire and theatrics to bring your experience to life.

The food was absolutely delicious 😋 Everything was super fresh and tasty. Would absolutely recommend. Staff was very on the ball. Overall a great experience

We were there with a rather large group with a lot of moving parts and several birthdays being celebrated of multiple ages so I won't judge them on the celebration singing.
Our server was outstanding however others in our group at the next table over were not as fortunate as their server was not friendly or efficient. Our server and chef did fantastic at making sure our orders were cooked and served correctly.
The parking is free and plentiful & the place is totally handicap accessible which is greatly appreciated.
We ordered the dinner for 2 which came with soup, salad, shrimp appetize, steak, chicken and either shrimp or scallops, vegetables and white rice however you can get fried rice for an up charge.
The drinks were very good and served quickly and kept full.

Never had a bad experience here. Staff are very friendly and watching the sous chef cook is always fun and entertaining.
