I bring my granddaughter here to have fun and burn off some energy. Great clean park

Fenced-in Playground area is not ♿️ accessible- thick pebble filled surface. There is a hard straight path from the bridge entrance to the largest playground structure only, so you can bring a stroller or ♿️ into the area & back out. Multiple playground pieces to play on.
There are picnic tables scattered & small pavilion with picnic tables, too.
Outside of the playground area is a large wide open park that has a lodge, portajohns, sports playing fields & small fishing pond.

A great old playground. The only tire swing in Clarkson & Sweden, and it really swings and turns.

Attended an event at the pavilion. The fish stocked pond was a pleasant treat.

Sure, good park. Nobody else was there which was nice. Fun climbing wall for the kids. My daughter tested every item, and then she was bored.
I don't get the pea gravel that they all have, is that better than whatever we had as kids? I guess I prefer that over shredded tires.

Hafner Park was really great for a baby shower. Now we want to have our family picnic there! It has heat/air and an awesome playground for all of kids.

Very well kept as far as the equipment, a few trees for shade and a couple pavilions with grills for family get togethers. Only thing I wasn't very keen on was that they use pebbles instead of the wood ships I see at other playgrounds. But then again those will rot and make a mess and is probably more expensive to maintain than the pebbles. My kids loved it there, and I'm sure your kids will too!
