This zoo has water fountain and rest areas through out each area. Please be sure to hydrate, use sunscreen, wear hats or caps, hydrate again and have fun 😊
Dallas Zoo is great family friendly place. It has a wide range of animals and birds.
Kids will love the place. They have a lot of live experience as well.
So plan for the same. Be ready to walk and keep a stroller handy for kids as they can get tired.
They have a kid play area as well.
The restaurants have a good selection of food and drinks.
The food and drinks can set you back by 70 usd for a family of 4.
You can get your own water and baby food.
On a sunny day it can quite tiresome so have good walking shoes and for kids space out the visit to the Africa and North zone.
The Africa area is the one with elephants and the giraffes. There is an giraffe feeding station (not free cost extra 6/7 usd per person).
If the weather is a pleasant 65/70 Fahrenheit it will be awesome visit.
They do serve beer and wine as well.

The best African animal exhibit that I have seen! Always fun trying to spot where the red river hog is hanging out for the day.

It's Free to view the animals. It cost $6 - $10 for food to feed the Giraffe. Its not required but so neat to do.
Loved this area. The giraffe baby was cute.
Feeding the giraffes was so much fun! They are so funny. And there is a baby giraffe we didn't noticed until the zoo keeper pointed her out. 😍 so tiny compared to all the other giraffes 🦒
