Hunts Point Riverside Park

Small place but the free boat service make the park very enjoyable.

Place is so nice and (Usually and less lately) safe.

Quiet and canoeing are launch from here by parks department. Was nice seing sunday a group of canoe paddle down the river. Parks are the one leading this event. Nice for meditating and taking time for self.

This was a great little experience on a spur of the moment attendance by a friend of mine. We attended the 'Rocking the Boat' FREE community rowing Saturday 06/10/23.
The staff here was very friendly, courteous & happy. Everyone really makes you feel encouraged to be able to enjoy the activity on hand.
After signing an e-waiver we were explained the rules & what to expect. Your provided life jackets for your rowing trip. Once in the row boat you can expect the staff to do most or all the rowing. Although I obliged somewhat as I appreciate the challenge.
Moving upstream was challenging but fun. On the return w/the current was better.

All in time we spent was around 45 mins- 1 hr I'd say. All free & on a beautiful day it was really great 😎👍😍💪

Great place to travel with family and friends.

This as a small oasis in the South Bronx. There are family activities on the summer weekend and during the weekdays a great place to go to find some piece and Beauty.

Great community space. Found the most beautiful snail garden!
