The staff here are extremely kind and patient.

They had prepared age appropriate activities for the children. Everyone was able to have a turn, feel included, and participate. As expected, safety was address first and safety rules were adhered to.

I had no idea the park next to Rocking the Boat had such amazing views. It's amazingly tranquil with nice picnic style benches in the shade for a peaceful break or lunch.

This is a place that would require multiple visits to get the full scope of their educational offerings and soaking in the scenery.

A hidden diamond, Rocking the Boat provides access to the water + education to both the public and local students. The boat building program is innovative and is changing lives. If you live in the area, or have to travel to get here, it’s worth the trip. Everyone is welcome. The community RtB haS created is the something special.

This is a great place for children to come into their own. It fosters confidence, teamwork and a great sense of pride! I thank God for providing the organization and staff as being a part of our Village.

Wonderful work with young people being done here! Thank you, Adam, for creating this incredible organization, teaching boat building, rowing and sailing to young people and doing environmental repair on the Bronx River.

This is such a wonderful gem of experience, I have had 3 grandchildren and 2 nieces participate in this program. Here is a place where young teens can gained experiences in learning about their environment and sailing, or take part in building a boat. The mentors here are mostly made up of past participants who want to give back. It is also a place to forge friendships that welcome diversity, difference of opinions and strength of hopes for future endeavors.

I’ve just been there and had a great experience talking to and hanging out with cool people in Hunts Point. They were the coolest people I’ve ever met in Bronx. I could never guess what this place was about until I went inside and asked! Eric showed me around and and the boat they made with kids. It was fascinating! Live hip hop music was the first thing caught our attention. Going inside we saw many nice graffitis and talked to amazing people. If I had a kid I would definitely take the kid to the boat making workshops. I definitely go back to hang out with them again.
