The Plaza Midtown

Nice place. Clean and close to everything.

Atmosphere perfect queen size VIP I like it very much so

I would NOT recommend buying or renting a condo at Plaza Midtown in either building (north or east tower). The walls are paper thin and at this price tag, this is absurd. You can hear your every word your neighbors say through the bedroom walls even at a normal volume! Sound insulation between floors is poor as well. While you can’t hear voices, you can hear footsteps from above and every time your neighbor drops a chair or other object it will sound really loud in your unit. This is because Plaza midtown COA doesn’t require owners to put IIC rated sound proofing underlayment before installing floors. They just let owners nail the wood directly into the concrete which makes your ceiling like. their drum. Meanwhile, other condos in midtown like Metropolis and 1010 require owners to install IIC 65 or higher soundproofing underlayment before installing floors. Construction sounds are also easily transmitted between floors and that experience is maddening to the say the least. Management can be quite unresponsive and some of the concierge staff aren’t very helpful. In addition the parking garage gates take a while to fix and managements solution is have a security guard at the gate but most times they aren’t even there. Right now the exit gate in the parking garage is a security issue because the door is missing and anyone from the street can walk in. I’d recommend searching for better managed and better built condos in midtown.

Most of property has proper upkeep, but why is it this improper drainage has been the case for months and never been fixed. Either have someone blow the leaves or adjust where water drains.

Ran in for groceries because it was the closest. Parking was good. You have to walk around if you don't see the ramp. Didn't have any Chobani sweet cream creamer (the reason I go Publix). Navigating the store is different (it's the city). Best parts were Maddy(cashier) thank you young Lady. Keep rocking that shadow! And the Dirty Sriracha honey chips! Not sure if those are in my area.

Midtown Plaza was wonderful and vibrant. It was a great choice of restaurants in the area. I love the presence of entertainment going on and it was family friendly. There was a large presence of security, so I felt safe. Transportation ran well in the area too. I really enjoyed my time there.

I love the kindness of the staff and very clean environment. I always get my fruit from here.
