Mathnasium

My son is getting better at math since the first day I sent him to Mathnasium. I recommend if your children are behind. I am thankful for this program.

For a popular location in DC, we have always felt important and received timely and helpful feedback on both of our kids. The tutors consistently bring energy and a good attitude and the center directors have always been of the highest caliber. We are thrilled to be part of this program and will continue to grow and learn with this center for many more.

It's a good option if you feel your child does best in a group environment instead of with a private tutor. My son's teacher at school does think it is helping him. However, it bothers me that we don't get to see the work he is doing unless we view it in the center for "copyright" reasons. Instead we get convoluted assessment results.

Our daughter needed a serious refresher. As parents, we felt it was important for her to be fully prepared entering high school and with the pandemic, we were a bit concerned that her math retention might have been lost a little. Our schedule was slammed with summer and travel. We really appreciated the accommodation Mathnasium gave us. Jacob was incredibly thoughtful and understanding of our situation and guided us through the entire process. Most importantly, the lessons given to her connected the dots and we were absolutely thrilled to hear from our daughter that during the review portion in math class, she was prepared and confident. She scored very high on the review test and was very proud of herself. She would have started the year on the wrong foot without this important time at Mathnasium. We are very grateful!

My Kids really loved the approach Mathnasium employs in teaching them Mathematical concepts. Having come from Africa, the style of teaching is different from what they are used to and it really made a huge impact on their learning. They really love receiving Math lessons from Mathnasium. Kudos to all the teachers and managers of Mathnasium.

My 9 year old loves Mathnasium! He says it’s extremely fun. He says he is learning so much everyday and progressing at a fast solid pace. For math loving kids, it’s an amazing place to do extra math.

Mathnasium brought my daughter up to speed after all the math knowledge she'd lost during the pandemic. We started at the beginning of the summer to prepare her for 3rd grade. Now she is a few weeks in and the homework is easy for her, and she's not experiencing any of the frustration that she used to. And she actually enjoys going, which I didn't expect.
