I would highly recommend going to another place. The messed up my meal with one of my coworkers meals and didn’t offer to fix it. When the cook made the mistake he yelled at the waitress. They must be very hard up for cash but aren’t we all? They brought out garlic sauce and pita bread to the table before bringing out our food. When I get my portion of the bill they charged me for the garlic sauce and my chicken Schwarma. I told the waitress that I didn’t order garlic sauce and she was trying to tell me it comes with my meal but if that’s the case why am I charged full price for the lunch entree and then an additional amount for the garlic sauce and pita bread? She walks away and talks to the cook. A big burly man comes barreling out of the kitchen asking what the problem was. I politely told him I wasn’t paying for the garlic sauce and to remove it. The big burly man said that I would pay for it and when I told him I wouldn’t pay for anything then, he said he would call the cops. I told him to go ahead, knowing that would get no where ((amazed that this jerk would waste a cops time on two bucks)). Well, he never called the cops, which wasn’t surprising. I knew he was trying to intimidate me to pay for something I didn’t order. We assumed it was a part of the meal like bread or chips and salsa and they never mentioned any additional charge for it. I’m sure they get away with this all the time but this is a scam and I would avoid going there unless you want to get ripped off for mediocre food.

I chose this place based on the positive reviews of their shawarma. I called ahead and ordered for pick up. I have not tried anything else on their menu.
The waitress was very kind and the atmosphere seemed quiet and comfortable.
The wrap itself was surprisingly thin considering the price. The chicken was cooked well, but the lack of flavor and toppings was surprising. There were a couple bites that tasted like it contained toum, but I couldn’t see any sauce in it. I basically ate a chicken and pickle wrap. I understand that traditional shawarmas have much less in them than what is usually offered at many restaurants, but this was the bare minimum.

Wife had stuffed grape leaves, smallest I've ever seen, should have taken a picture, I had Chicken Swarma Plate, thought I was getting the one wrapped in a pita , but I did order the plate, chicken had a good flavor but was very dry. Didn't feel it was worth what we paid but I am not a good judge for this type of food. Oh, the salad was good.

The food was great, looked fresh and tasted great. Few things the menu is very off on pricing. The daily special sheet said half chicken off bone $9.99 so that is what I ordered . She asked if I wanted garlic I said sure just a really small one, asked if I wanted bread I said sure. A side salad came with the special I got a fattoush and it was fabulous! The bread came and it was the bagged type pita not warm bread which was fine I’m not a big bread eater. Food came and it was delicious and large serving so I got a box to take the majority of it home. When I got the bill the special was really $12.99 not $9.99 and I had a garlic charge of $1.99 . While that was fine because it still seemed reasonable but had I known ahead of time I would have just stuck with a fattoush with chicken as all I really wanted was a salad and chicken but looked at the better deal and got it the other way. Seems like a family owned place and waitress was friendly. It’s really close to my work so I plan to go back again and take some friends for lunch. They got quite a bit of carry out service while I was there. They should update the menu and while it looks like they have a line through prices they should just update with a marker the actual prices so people know.

I don't normally leave raving reviews... But this place was fantastic. The lamb was fresh along with everything else. The portions were huge, but I couldn't stop eating the lamb, literal meat sweats as I'm writing this. Visit this place! Well worth it!!! PRESERVE PLACES LIKE THIS, MEDITERRANEAN WAS NOT MEANT TO BE FAST FOOD. This place does it right! The owners are nice and clearly appreciate the food they make and their customers!

Absolutely great service! Great food! Nice folks running the place! Being from the Southern US I don't get a lot of Greek or Mid-East food, so when I visit the North I take every opportunity to try new places. Hands down properly the best meal I've had in the Troy area while traveling and and eating at dozens of restaurants. The owner/cook was even hospitable enough to talk with me in detail about culture, different cooking methods, and raising sheep.

Hands down my favorite place for Mediterranean food. The steak kabobs are fantastic and so is the hummus! Nice little mom and pop location, not too expensive and almost never busy for dinner.
