A beautiful place to stop while walking, biking, or skating along the Ottawa river! Stunning views, a nice bistro to grab a bite, and just sit back, relax, and reminisce. Love it!

DO NOT SWIM

In an attempt to find the slightest bit of beauty within the city of Ottawa, I came across Remic Rapids Park. The park consists of what looked like a beautiful little beach, but as I got closer, I was overshadowed by the overwhelming and unpleasant sight of countless dead fish scattered along the shore. The stench was unbearable, making it impossible to enjoy the mediocre view. I would strongly advise anyone wishing for a fun beach day to look elsewhere. The beach would work as a nice place for a stroll, but other than that, if you love your children, I'd suggest not letting them splash around in there.

Nice spot to rest while on a bike ride. (Also a Bistro if you are so inclined.)

Stone sculptures are very interesting.

Beautiful spot to enjoy the sunset! Love that there's an NCC bistro to grab a snack or some drinks and plenty of spots to sit to enjoy a nice evening by the water. Just watch out for the geese and their poop!

Scenic spot on the Ottawa River. Lots of free parking. Easy access from the multi use pathways. Bathroom and picnic tables. NCC Bistro located here.

One of the less touristy spots in Ottawa to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Definitely worth going here to see the beautiful sculptures. They are such beautiful works of art with lots of dedication put into it. I even got to see the sculptor himself, John Ceprano, work on it.
