Golden Moon Chinese Food

Ordered through skip. Really good food. The fried egg rolls tasted weird, so will pass on that next time. The dumpling dough is really thick, but they still taste good overall. Wonton soup was exactly how I wanted it to taste. Ginger beef, sweet and sour pork, veg in oyster sauce and a noodle dish all satisfied my Chinese food cravings. Will definitely order again. Thanks!

We ordered the house special rice, sweet and sour pork, and ginger beef. The prices were reasonable and the food came out fast and hot. We were satisfied with the portions and got four meals out of them. The highlight of the order was the pork. Golden Moon also gave us free noodles because our order came to $40.00. I recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

I ordered salt and pepper prawns for pick up and they were amazing. Very crispy and full of flavour. The best I have had in the city. I find that they are usually soggy from other places but these were delicious. Highly recommend.

This might have been some of the best Chinese food we have had in quite a while!! The only downside was that we ordered the Lemon Chicken and it didn’t arrive with any lemon sauce. On the bright side, the ginger beef was so good, and saucy, that we were able to toss the ‘Lemonless Chicken’ in the extra ginger sauce... and it was delicious! Would absolutely order again.

I got the Dinner for 1 with included 1 veggie spring roll, mixed veggies, chicken friend rice and a choice of entree. I chose the Chicken Chow Mien and let me tell you - it was absolutely FANTASTIC! This place is amazing. If you are looking for dinner for 1 or dinner for 10, I highly recommend!

My husband and I moved to Alberta a few months and have had food from this Chinese restaurant about 4-5 times via Skip the dishes. Each time we have not been disappointed. The dinner for 2 is a really good deal. My husband loves their chicken fried rice and ginger beef. I particularly love their Shanghai noodles and wonton soup. What is also very awesome is that when we leave notes in the STD comments, they actually follow through without the need for a phone call. Will keep returning as long as the service remains :)

You would think an overabundance of Chinese food restaurants would lead to a spike in quality due to competition, but apparently this restaurant isn't concerned with that. The prices are great for the portion sizes, but the food is flavorless and unimaginative. Sliced BBQ Pork had huge chunks of fat in it and no hoisin from what I could taste. The Chicken in Curry Sauce was better, but not by much - sauce was watery and bitter, due to the lack of salt combating the curry. At least the veggies tasted freshly made. The "Special" Fried Rice was not special at all - overcooked shrimp and pork chunks hard as nails. I'll pass on this place and try one of the other 7000 Chinese restaurants in this city.
