Went there with my friends on Christmas Eve. From the service to the food to the presentation, everything was amazing! We loved it! Both the quantity and the quality were superb. We can easily say it’s the best Thai restaurant out there!

Went with a group of five and the food was very tasty. We started with Tom Yam soup, two different kinds and then had drunken noodles, three different kinds of curry and a signature dish I cannot spell! Service was friendly. The restaurant was not very big and a bit dated but all was pleasant.

This restaurant was on my list to try and I am so happy I came here Friday night. They were busy but still accommodated us for 8:45pm. Late dinner but so worth it. We had a difficult time deciding what to order and the owner was tending to our table and he made some recommendations. He recommended the drunken noodle and green curry chicken. Both dishes were unreal!!! I usually go for green curry chicken in all Thai restaurants because it's my favorite dish, but the drunken noodle was up there too for me and I would come back for both. They will make is less spicy or more spicy at your request. Prices were very reasonable and the owner is such a sweet man. He stayed and chatted with us past close and he was so genuine. You can tell he puts lots of effort into the restaurant and it shows. The food was some of the best Thai food I have had in Calgary. One of the best restaurants we have eaten at for sure! Will be back! Presentation was beautiful too

My cousin and I came here on a whim. She is from Stony Plain and when she visits she likes to go somewhere different. Her choice this trip was Khao San Thai Kitchen.
Other than the always under construction 17th Ave, it was easy to find and get parking. Mind you it was after 6.
We weren't sure how big the orders were going to be so we only ordered spring rolls and rice and green curry.
The spring rolls were an absolute delight. The presentation was unique and original. So fun. And it contained Khao San sauce. The spring rolls themselves were really good. They were so crispy. So crispy all the way through. I venture to say they were the best I have had. And I have had my fair share.
The coconut rice was fragrant and filled the bowl and an equally appetizing aroma came from the curry dish. Both were really great. My cousin found the curry a bit spicy. But I found it reminiscent of Thailand. It just took me there. Sorry I forgot to take a pic.
We also ordered Chicken and Cashews. This was also very tasty. I really enjoyed this dish. There was plenty of both chicken and cashews. I really enjoyed this dish. It was a real comfort dish.
Our waiter, who I would think was the owner, was so much fun. He was just a joy to be around. He was funny but helpful and he really knew how to make you feel welcomed.
Thanks for a great evening.

Today was the first time enjoying Thai food in a sit down restaurant. An enjoyable experience. The customer service was excellent, extremely helpful in making selection of what to eat. Thank you Sam for all your help. The green curry chicken was exceptional. The papaya salad was yummy with a bit of a kick. I did enjoy the sweet and sour Basa.

Nice patio, excellent food.
We had the spring rolls (they serve them in shot glasses with sweet chili which feels weird) and the chicken pad Thai.
The pad Thai was one of the best ones I’ve had, I really enjoyed it. Others at our table had a red curry, drunken noodles and the papaya salad. All had good things to say about the food.
The one downfall - we were there for almost 2 hours, the service is quite slow.
I did really enjoy the food and will definitely be back, but would recommend you make sure you schedule enough time to enjoy the meal there.
