My visit to Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias left me with mixed feelings. The exterior of this architectural marvel is undeniably cool, promising an exciting exploration of science and arts. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm took a nosedive upon entering the Science Museum.

As someone who generally enjoys Science Museums, the inside of this one was a major letdown. The exhibits lacked the engaging and interactive elements I usually look forward to, resulting in an experience that felt, for lack of a better word, boring.

Given the captivating allure of the outdoor surroundings, I found myself wishing I had spent more time enjoying the exterior beauty of the complex. The suggestion to skip the indoor museum and opt for activities like renting standing paddle boards is intriguing, and in hindsight, it might have indeed added a more enjoyable dimension to the visit.

While the exterior of Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias deserves all the hype, the same can't be said for the Science Museum's interior. If you're a fan of outdoor activities and want to make the most of your time, I'd recommend soaking in the stunning architecture and opting for the suggested standing paddle board adventure – it might just be a more enjoyable way to spend your visit.

These amazing futuristic buildings in Valencia are a must see. We visited on a cruise and the shuttle bus dropped up in the town centre where there are plenty of historic buildings to view. But I wanted to see the HEMISFERIC structure and other "star trek style futuristic buildings" and WOW WOW WOW. Thanks to Google maps and a cheap local bus ride to get us there.

What a stunning example of modern architecture. As a photographer, seeing things like this in a city really helps to elevate the visit. It's kept pristine, and looks especially beautiful during golden hour.

The architecture is incredible. Each of the structures has distinctive features but maintains the space age style of the site.
You can buy a range of entrance tickets depending on which attractions you wish to visit, the oceanographic being the most expensive.
Also, it's only possible to enter the Opera House as part of a guided tour at set times.
If you feel adventurous, you can hire a board or boat and shoot around the lake for a while.
Each place is fascinating and worth a visit. You can also go in and out of the Science Museum as many times as you please during the day.

Great place to visit with kids or kids at heart. Lots of interactive displays set in a very beautifully designed building. Worth the visit just to explore the building.
Also tickets are reasonably priced compared to some of the close by attractions.

Amazing place, one the of the largest and biggest Science Museum, very interactive!
Make sure you inform yourself before going there, there are a lot of interesting activities and workshops for kids and adults as well! Those have to booked in advance on the science website! Worth any penny!
