Woodley Playground

I went there in June 2023 and the playground seems forgotten. There is just a slide, a couple of swings and that’s it

Nice urban playspace in need of heavy duty maintenance and repair. Not up to the condition of most of the public spaces in the D.C. area under the National PRk Service's jurisdiction. The grass around the playground equipment is 12-15 inches high. Not only is the uncut grass unsightly, but uncut grass can be home to ticks. Timbers placed on site that serve as steps need replacement. After this area is cleaned up, repairs made and regularly maintained I'm confident that the Woodley Playground will be a 5 star playground.

A lovely place that makes happy child!
Families outside picnicking, joyful chat, greetings, hugs, BBQ food, music, and singing and inside children playing enjoy water playing, climbing, swinging, sliding, and exploring, socializing. A wonderful place to feel happy!

This is a fine playground after the zoo but don’t believe the one photo on google. That’s not here it’s just a simple playground

How does have teepees and is pretty good but not as the pictures... maybe we need to explore more to find the ones at the pictures
