Traditional square, a lot of taverns near by.

beautiful outdoor market.

Filled with life, beautiful shops with local products, and a few ouzo places to grab a bite and relax.

Great place for a traditional taste of Thessaloniki. You can get a really good feel for the history of the city here. We had lunch in a little pita place on the square which was good quality for the prices. This square also provides entrances to the markets which are a must to visit if you really want to get a fee of the magic of this place. Shame that it’s a little ran down and could do with a little tlc from the local authorities, but definitely should visit.
