I was here and was completely mesmerized with the beauty of river and the evening Aarti.
If you plan to come here then please stand at oppposite side of Aarti ghat so you will get good view and photos.
There are many parking spaces available here which can be found on maps.
Cleanliness is required and government must drive to keep this place clean.

It is considered to be the spot where the drops of Amrit fell over from the sky, while being carried in a pitcher by the celestial bird, Garuda after the Samudra Manthan. Every day, Har Ki Pauri ghat witnesses hundreds taking a dip in water of the Ganges. The place is considered very auspicious.
Visited haridwar in 2016,This holy place is amazing,very peaceful,the mind becomes very good when you come here,time passes by watching the flow of the river ganga and also watching ganga aarti is a wonderful experience,a place you will want to visit again and again.
Har har gange, some place in country doesn't need any experience sharing, just visit the mother nature and take blessings of it. Pious river which has gotten the boon from lord for all the mankind as who so ever a bathing in you will be pure and his soul will be released from all the bad karmas
I went in June, as the water level was very low, people used this for the bathroom and stuff, which honestly is disheartening to see, the part behind the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya parking, mostly there, I hope actions are taken asap and also public needs to be more aware themselves
