OK place….room is very dated and in desperate needs of an uplift and deep clean. Will not ruin our vacation but just something to be aware of if you have OCD (stains on furniture, carpet rough), I travel a lot and I’m a Hilton guy so I have come to expect more especially for the cost. Family is here for our son’s 21st birthday and will have a good time regardless but it’s has been brought up with our group. I took some pictures to show what I am referring to but didn’t post them all (missing glasses at bar as there was only one, broken hook on back of bathroom door etc)

The bad.
Many elevators out. Crowds and lines. (2 out of 5) given the number of floors they cover...big deal.
Casino was pretty thin, except the sports book.
Some one had a coupon for fragrance. Tone it down.
The good
The hotel is clean and looks great.
Plenty of nice restaurants to choose from in house.
The rooms are also very nice.
Service was very good.
A few easy issues to clean up but certainly would return because I think basically they will fix issues.
Other casinos so I'll survive that!

Have always stayed at Delano (the hotel) and had a great experience. We usually come in the month of October and the main reason is to enjoy the pool amenities. My partner is in a wheelchair and made my reservations on the Saturday before we came and called the hotel directly to make sure of pool was opened and had a lift to get in and out of the water and was assured we would not have a problem. So despite the increase in price because hotel full with conventions we paid and we’re expecting a great week by the pool. Unfortunately, from our first day 10/11/23 the pools including Delano were closed and we were stuck sitting in front of the crowded spa in the sun. So I decide to rent a cabana on Sunday and was told the west pool would be opened and paid 450 and the pool again was closed. Today 10/16/23 hot and sunny 91 pools closed and we are in our room. Our reason for coming was for some sun and lounge in the pool. This was a waisted trip and all we were told was that not that many people because of the convention. So we got charged more for our stay because of the conventions (rooms have declined tremendously)and got screwed with pool amenities because of the convention. What really upsets me is that I called before I reserved my room and questioned the pool being open while I was here before I rented the cabana. Not for someone disabled in a wheelchair. I guess we will have to find a new Vegas hotel next year.

This hotel is for a person who loves to hit the strip and then return to their hotel for elegance and quiet. I love the rooms, they have a full and half bathrooms and a separate living room. The only negative about this hotel is the elevator situation, more than once on my various trips I’ve had an issues with keys and the elevator. Overall it’s an amazing property with access to the beach at Mandalay Bay.

Amazing space. Feels like a private area off the strip where you can get away. Rio. Service happens everyday without asking which I didn't expect. The little coffee shop in the lobby is never too busy and makes tasty coffee. Also there's a scent to this place that's very pleasant

Really loved this hotel! Beautiful and actually very quiet. We had a King Suite with a “view of the strip” but what we actually loved is that this is not the actual strip where all of the partying and noise is. The rooms were beautiful and that bed is one of the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in. The deep soaking tub was amazing. I loved that at the front door where the light switches are, there were two additional buttons, one for do not disturb and the other to indicate that it’s okay for house keeping to come in. I’ve never seen that before. On days I relaxed, I could see the planes taking off from our room view. A great experience and would absolutely stay here again if I was ever in Vegas.

I do love staying at this hotel. It's attached to Mandalay, so it's close to a lot of stuff - but its far enough away down a hallway that it's very quiet and secluded. The rooms are large with a separate bedroom / living room space - which also helps block out noise from the hallway at night. Bathroom has a really deep tub, which is wonderful to soak in after a long day of walking around in the Vegas heat. Front desk staff are always pleasant to work with. The view is awesome as well.
Now, the few things I don't like... I wish they offered free coffee in the room. Kcups are $14, which is absolutely ridiculous. I also always forget that they don't let you use the in-room refrigerator. It's $50 a night to keep anything in there - and everything is wired with sensors, so they know immediately if you store anything in the fridge or even look at anything that they store in it.
Those few things are small but really obnoxious - and almost enough to make me want to look elsewhere. But outside of those, I always have an awesome time here & it's super close to walk to anything I need.
