Hollywood Casino & Hotel Joliet

We stopped here on the way out to visit family. The restaurant in the casino was very good. My complaint is that the security could not tell that my wife and I are in our 30s most most bartenders/etc are able to tell. I believe they need more training on how to gauge the age of guests .

My partner and I had an overnight stay at this hotel and I don’t have anything negative to say about the actual hotel. It’s not brand new so for the age of the hotel it presented as expected. The people were friendly, the bed was good enough for one night, the water was hot. No reason to complain. What I will say is Hollywood/Penn Play whoever you are, needs to do better for breakfast. We paid $200 for 1 night and were given a $5 food voucher. But there are no breakfast options on property to use that voucher. Thank you for the voucher, but because your plain stale donut won’t hold up for my 4 hour drive I really wish there was a breakfast option on property. Hop House didn’t open until 11 with no breakfast or brunch options and the steak house didn’t open until 4pm. So either keep your $5 and buy granola bars or something. Or think about putting a breakfast joint on site.

Went for tow truck parade so decided to go check out the casino. What a joke! Not 1 place open for food. It's lunch time.
The waitress at the bar downstairs...what a rag! Didn't want to be bothered I guess. Attitude when we asked for a soda with our shot. Told her to forget it. She is miserable!

Casino is trash. Machines are tight and the place is dirty it smells like weed and piss!! Go to the slot cafes and truck stops, you’ll win more and have a way better experience. This garbage dump needs closed down!!!

Not bad looking and food isn’t too expensive but the slots are terrible! They don’t payout much at all even if you bonus a lot. $250 in 30 mins and had 3 bonuses out of 15 different games and the bonuses paid less than $20 even though my bet was $1.50-5. Not good! Go to horseshoe and win better

Nice place for a trucker to park overnight. Friendly security directed me to the right area, coming here my first time.

Unfortunately, no dining available at 11am on a Monday, tho the staff I spoke to was extremely apologetic. I'd have considered walking around the casino area, had I found a decent meal.

This casino would do well to build out their lot to invite more truckers, have 24/7 food options, and maintain their good customer service, and they'd get more business.

Horrible casino. Small as heck. But parking lot is bigger times 10. I am a big spender. Casino closes at 530am. What kind of mess is that? But I should of known when there were no cars at 1am. Never again will I come here
