Liberty in Paris is deeply ingrained in the city's culture and history. As the capital of France, it stands as a symbol of the country's commitment to fundamental freedoms. The principles of liberty, including freedom of speech, press, and assembly, have been championed in Paris for centuries.
Paris has played a pivotal role in the promotion of human rights and liberty, dating back to the French Revolution and the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen in 1789. The city has witnessed many political and intellectual movements that have advanced these ideals, making it an iconic center for the pursuit of liberty.
However, it's important to recognize that the status of liberty in any city can evolve with time, influenced by legal changes, political shifts, societal norms, and global events. For the most current and specific information regarding liberty in Paris, it is advisable to consult recent news sources and official government websites.

Very cool to see both iconic symbols! Plus, it's a great walk/view to the Eiffel Tower, too.
A hidden gem that's surely worth visiting and should a part of your walk in the Seine! Reaching on the edge of the island gives you in the impression that you are in cruise in the river. Truly unique view!
