My local go - to State park!
This park is lovely in all seasons. It’s small but clean and beautiful.
We have camped here in a cabin and come to visit often just for the day!
Love the lady ranger, she’s a sweetheart!

What a cute state park. Not a ton of trails but bordering the Quehanna trail which os amazing.

We stayed in the campground with it was decent, but the bathrooms could have been cleaned more often, especially the shower rooms. Also, it was odd that there was not potable water throughout the campground with spigots as you normally see at campgrounds. We had site 54 which is pretty small.

Well maintained park. Campground was nice, sites clean and spacious. Trails were easily accessible and provided options for various ability levels. Staff were friendly.

It was my first time here but it will definitely not be my last. The dam is lovely. The trails were well maintained and I even had my first run in with a black bear!

We stayed in sites 109 and 110 great sites to be secluded from others and your very close to trails that lead to the dam and stepping stones so you can even cross and get to the other side of you want. Mostly a park for campers vs tents but ours was strictly tents and you can tent other places. Very scenic park and teens had a great time and so did the adults from both groups.

Clean rest rooms, nice park areas for kids concession stand at the beach is nice to have and they have very reasonably priced boat, kayak, canoe, peddle boats and paddle board rentals although they had a lot that were broken and couldn't rent out but it was memorial day weekend and beginning of the season.

Wildlife is plentiful make sure food is put away we had Bob cat and raccoon visits to our site they could careless about us but not fun nonetheless. Fishing was great husband caught 17 in trout seen plenty of large bass. Snakes are also in the area like any wooded outdoor area be careful.

Camp store is very lacking but has the bare basics.

I grew up coming to this park, so I may be biased just from the nostalgia. This park hosts lots of great events but my favorite is the conservation festival. They always have lots of activities for kids and everyone is always so kind. We love going on day hikes here as well. We love the CCC trail, Laurel run trail, the walk around the lake and the vista trail. We have also rented a pavilion hosted a few of our family reunions here. It's the perfect place to get everyone together for a little swimming, hiking, and horseshoes. 👍
