Was so excited to visit since I've been a fan of Wendell Berry for a long time (my son even before me!).
The bookstore staff were very hospitable and helpful. This is a man before his time and I wish more ag decision-makers would heed his recommendations and philosophies.

Great service. Love anything Wendell Berry, and this is a fun place to visit regularly to see what might be new such as Mr. Berry's newest books - both of which I've now read.
Made the pilgrimage, bought a buncha books, some local beef, and met Wendell's granddaughter Virginia. Beautiful store!
The bookstore is excellent, all of Wendell's books and lots of other authors. Also a great kids selection. Definitely worth a visit
They are exhibiting High School Art work for Youth Art Month. Such a great part of the Henry County Community.
The Berry family and staff are wonderful, down to earth, and inviting people with lots of positive energy and joy. The center itself hosts a great library, with the bookstore close by. See sustainable agriculture at its best by visiting the Sterling College satellite program, also housed within the Berry Center..
This place captures and implements the core values of Wendell Berry. The folks are beyond gracious and are genuine in their vocation, providing for an deeply satisfying visit. I am certain that the 8 hour trek will be happening again. Well worth the time!
