WaterColor Beach Club

Great location right on the beach.
I did not stay the night but ate at FOOW.

This place is dirty, outdated and overrun with people drinking (a lot) and teens riding around on bikes and golf carts screaming all night. Thought it would be a nice, relaxing atmosphere but it’s like Daytona Beach Spring Break vibe.

The Pool manager was very rude and condescending. He was demeaning to children. He put all of the umbrellas down due to wind. However it was 123 deg heat index making shade necessary. One lady had a heat stroke. He began to treat her like she had had too much to drink when in actuality the poor lady had a heart condition. The family behind us said they would never return. Our family owns a home in the community making this experience very disappointing.

The view is breathtaking, the water is incredible, Food is to die for so may options. Let's not forget the drinks, quality drinks with some of the best service, lounge out and soake up the sun while you sip on a refreshing Miami Vice

Mm mmm mmmmm so fun dude. I had the best time ever at this beach club with my friend and family. We were staying in a little house only a bike ride away from the club. It was so cool because there was parking in the garage for our bikes and gold cart and once we checked in with our wristbands we had access to a private beach, private places to eat and private shops. It was so amazing I had a great time. They also had a water slide and a lazy river!

The home we stayed in was 5 stars, but we did pay $14,600 for a week. The beach club was inadequate. The pools were all overcrowded, no seats at the small bar. No tables and chairs. The beach was so crowded with hundreds of umbrellas lined up 4 rows deep. Could not see the ocean when on the beach. No beach amenities without walking 1/2 mile. Lines to check in and check out with your blue arm band. They take up all the beach chairs at 4:30 and when you go up the hill to ride the shuttle back to your condo they stop running at 5:00 so you are stuck with a long walk. The chairs are $75 a day, bottled water $8, beers $10. It’s just overpriced, not enough room move, too many limitations. We would not stay here again. Panama City is better.

The only reason for giving the club a 4 star instead of 5 are two things! 1) The bar/grill doesn’t open until 11. The club opens at 9, and while I get not serving food until 11, not serving any drinks and also not being able to bring in drinks for 2 hours seems a little unplanned. 2) A couple of the staff seem to take a little pride in their jobs. We witnessed several guests almost get security called on them when a staff member said they had moved their lounge chairs a few inches. Seemed a little ridiculous. Absolutely understand moving them several feet, front to back, etc but it was just a little much. Other than those two things the pools were convenient and it was nice having an adults only area/pool.
