The course delivery is just a nightmare; I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to attend and when. They give "participation" marks and group assignments, like it's high school?

I withdrew and they told me it will take 4 weeks to get my money back - which is an unreasonably long time

The teaching staff is really good but the administration is so bad never helpful. Business oriented not look like a place of learning. If you have any enquires you hardly get positive response.

Murdoch University was prestigious only on its website and social media page. But it was a corrupt university without any business ethics and principle. I am writing out of frustration and no assistance from the University despite calling the student centre several times for the Refund of fees which I deposited $18,257.89 for my sister (student ID 34980323) whose visa got rejected through the mobile transfer. What was the main logic behind withholding such a huge amount in the university account for over two months? Whenever I called the student centre, the staff made many excuses for not receiving the refund form first and later on time between the enrolment team and the finance team to refund the fees. Where was the coordination between the team? It was as if there were rivalries and blaming each other. Such a big university offering both undergraduate and postgraduate courses has no access to transfer the call to the finance team. It was shocking! Please, I am requesting the team to refund my money. Otherwise, I only have the option to copy and paste the same post on the business page of your University on social media.

I'm not sure about other courses here, but Chiropractic has been an absolute nightmare. A special mention goes out to Dr Jean Theroux, who wouldn't know how to teach if his life depended on it. Proof of this matter is he got removed due to MASSIVE complaints and taken to the local radio station, only to be re-instated straight after the class that complained so heavily graduated.

Here is a tip for anyone thinking about studying at Murdoch (especially Chiropractic) , do not. Murdoch thinks learning objectives are "learn everything", I am serious, not certain functions, techniques, etc (although they are all included as well), just everything about everything oh and you can be examined on everything as well. I've been to four universities previously and not ONE is like this. They do it on purpose to make large amounts of people fail to have to enroll to earn more $$$.

Don't believe me? Just look at the Vice Chancellor, more money per student ratio than ANY OTHER UNIVERSITY in WA! Yes you read that correctly, more than the big and much more prestige ones.

Oh and staff have spoken out against this as well, guess what? They've been either fired or the ones who couldn't be fired (due to tenure) their departments completely closed.

Don't throw away your money on this university. The only reason you would quite literally go here is if you have an eidetic memory (the ability to vividly recall an image you are exposed to, but only briefly. For example, someone may be able to continue to “see” a picture they have been shown for 30 seconds, even a few minutes after the picture is removed) , because the way this institution RUSHES through way too much content piled into subjects (comparably other universities have this spread across 2 or even 3 subjects) with zero direction other than "everything", why would you do that to yourself?

I know people who have tried and literally committed suicide (I came close as well), Murdoch does NOT care about ANYTHING besides the $$$$.

Oh and another scandal was allowing international Chinese students in that had no basic understanding of the fundamentals to even pass subjects (such as needed English etc), Murdoch again allowed them in, failed so they would need to try again, more $$$.

Have always loved the bush setting as it is conducive to studying and learning, as well as respecting our natural environment. It’s Chinese garden is also carefully cultivated and maintained.

Located within one kilometre from Kwinana Freeway via South Street. It was an open day and we walked around the Campus. It is huge. Lots of parking 🅿️ areas. Loved the atmosphere

Please let your Accountancy division know not to advise their students to apply for jobs or work over FB - incredibly unprofessional. Teach them how to write a professional resume and covering letter. They will never get work via FB. Especially seeing they don't even bother to research where the business is, and are in fact asking about applying for work in an eastern State.
