We have been coming here for years and this course has gotten really run down. Several carpets had holes and tears. Many of the carpets were lumpy and the metal cups the balls were supposed to roll into were all dented and uneven. There were leaves all over the courses and the employee just sat there doing nothing the whole time we played. No one attempted to clean off the course in the morning or afternoon. Unemptied trash cans and litter lined the course. We will not go back unless they attempt to fix it up again.
Pros: Beautiful setting, lovely ambience, shady and secluded. Clerk was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Not much variety or many challenges for either the high side or the low side. Carpeting on the low side was pretty bad on several holes.
If you really enjoy Mini golf and want to be challenged, this is not the course for you. We felt disappointed.

Runaway Bay Miniature Golf was once a great place but it now requires a lot of repairs to make it great again. We did enjoy our time here but we will not return here and we do not recommend it until they make all of the repairs.
Might be time to sink some money into this place. It’s looking quite shopworn for the price that they charge.
Went here with the fam for some fun on a Thurs afternoon. Super leisurely and pretty mini golf course. I love the water features and all the stairs and rock formations are clearly labeled to keep you safe. The highlights include one of the holes that went down through a tunnel to a second level and a couple near the end that really use the rock formations to make the holes interesting.
And as is the custom, the hugest score paid for delicious ice cream which was perfect on a warm afternoon.

We had a great time. It was very challenging. My out of state family was here on vaca. They play miniature golf often and this gave them quite the challenge. We did get 2holes in one.
Great fun for the whole family, at reasonable prices. And open late...but the ice cream shop was closed by the time we finished at 9:45pm on a Saturday night. The holes aren't too challenging...no wild and crazy hazards that other putt putt facilities have, so it's more geared towards novice golfers (or those who just don't want to complicate things too much!). Still a worthwhile time out for all family members, young and old.
